    They were both soldiers that were going to be deployed.   This is so sad and scary.   We have not heard from my nephew either and my sister is really upset.   I do hope all of us with family soon hear that they are okay.   There is so  much stress in all of this.

    This is too scary.  A major?  12 dead.  Gen. Honore is on CNN right now - he is in shock that the shooter was that old and a major.

    What difference does it make if the shooters' names are Arabic?

    I wonder how many trips the shooter has had to Iraq.he was upset about being sent there. I wonder is this was his first time? How horrible , those fine young men died or wounded for what?

    Could we please not turn this thread into a political debate? Can we please show a little sensitivity right now for those who have yet to hear from family members before we start blaming Bush..or Obama?

    I think I may have misread what gameball said. I apologize,GB. I read it to mean one thing,but I dont think thats how you intended it to sound.

     

    But I do think this topic needs to remain politically neutral.
