The Rose Room ~ Friday, November 6th

    Good morning everyone.

Kelly's Mission:  Let's go after the ceilings, light fixtures and window sills in the Dining Room and Entrance Way.  Use a feather duster or dust rag to get the window sills, light fixtures, dust in the corners and ceiling fan if you have one.

Laura - Our Big Lots usually looks like a junk yard.  You can see where the new stock is being put out and that area will look fine.  I don't think they have enough help.  But it's well worth the trip when you find what you are looking for or a "can't pass it up at that price" item.  I know Hayden is going to love the firetruck.

Maryann - Enjoy the bazaar.  Sounds like a fun day.

Thanks Diana.  We did have a nice time.  At this point I would have to pay for a lawn service and as long as John is willing to come and do it for us, I'll pay him.  A little extra cash never hurts.  Wink   Don't you just hate seeing the babies get shots.

Got down to 36 overnight and it's still chilly out.  Sunny and blue sky and should continue through the weekend.

Gotta run errands today and I want to get an early start.  As in get out of here before DD wakes up.  Yesterday I was set to go to the grocery store and she wanted to go shopping with me.  Well that's how I spent the afternoon.

Have a wonderful day and great weekend.  See you Monday.

Goodness, it's a lonely day in the rose room :( I am about to leave for my jaunt to the windy city to collect hubbie...

Gorgeous day here, was in the 60's! Ya just never know what kind of weather you're going to get in the midwest! I also see a lot of harvesting going on. The farmers are finally able to get into the fields..

Dori, I do hate seeing those poor little ones get those shots!  Hope you & DD had a good day :)

    Til Later Buds ~~~~ Hugs!

    1. I believe in a balanced budget and therefore will vote for a freeze in government spending until that goal is realized.

    2. I believe government should not increase the financial burden on its citizenry during difficult economic times therefore I will oppose all tax increases until our economy has rebounded.

    3. I believe more than 4 decades of U. S. dependance on foreign oil is a travesty therefore I will support an energy plan that calls for immediately increasing usage of all domestic resources including nuclear energy, natural gas, and coal as necessary.

    4. I believe in the sovereignty and security of our country and therefore will support measures to close our borders except for designated immigration points so we will know who is entering and why and I will vehemently oppose any measure giving another country, the United Nations, or any other entity, power over the U. S. citizens.

    5. I believe the United States of America is the greatest country on earth and therefore will not apoligize for policies or actions which have served to free more and feed more people around the world than any other nation on the planet.

     Hi Rosies!

I slept really late today.  Went to bed last night with a headache that kept getting worse and worse.  Finally took some Advil-PM.  That stuff knocks me out for about 12 hours.

It's rainy here.  The emergency signal went off today on the radio.  Made me wonder if we were getting the huge storm which is predicted.

DH is driving to CA this weekend.  Not sure if he's going tonight or in the morning.

C&B, Hayden had to get 6 shots at one of his appointments.  Was not a happy baby, but hopefully Gianna will be.

Hugs to all.  Have a great Friday!~~~Laura

Some days, I can literally see the testosterone floating in the air around here.

TGIF to our working Buddies!  I spent most of the day in Portland as I had to have my car serviced.  Then to Chicos...they had a jacket on sale I wanted so I stopped there too. Got home kind of late. Tom is watching the news and I've got chicken corden bleu in the oven. Easy to fix and looks impressive. Who could ask for anything more?

Diana, have a great weekend with your hubby!  Hope you can just stay home and relax.

Laura, hope you feel better. We never got the high winds or heavy rain predicted. I know we won't fully escape it but for now it's just a normal Fall, drizzley day.

    See ya all later!

4boys, it is supposed to be foggy, rainy, and possible snow.  Just wanted to give you and hubby a heads up on the weather.

I went to the bazaar and found some nice stocking stuffers.  Also had a lovely lunch for $5.  It was soup, cornbread, beverage, and pie for $5.  So it was well worth it.  There is another in Montague tomorrow, but may not make that.  I want to get some things for my SS.

If it is cold and rainy, I may not go.  And I may just sleep in.

Hope everyone is doing well.  CBW, Have a good weekend with hubby.
