Can you help me find this cake recipe from the late 90's???

I had cut out a recipe from the magazine for a peanut butter cake with chocolate frosting.  The picture showed a round, two layer cake.  I remember it was from scratch and contained peanut butter, the frosting was chocolate and also from scratch.  My family loved this cake and I can't find my cut-out recipe anywhere.  They're threatening a mutiny at Thanksgiving if I don't make it!!!

    Anyone have it?

    Thanks!

I have all the Taste of Home magazines from Aug/Sept 95 till 2009, when I let my subscription expire.  I will see if I can find the recipe you are looking for, if it is in there.  I also have some Country, Country Woman, and some of the other Reiman Publications.

I need some more information on the ingredients.  First of all, since this involved a lot of magazines to look through, I typed Peanut Butter Cake in the Recipe Search above, and got 71 results.  Some of the cakes had chocolate, or banana or other ingredients in them.  Some had nuts like peanuts.  I didn't see a pale one like a peanut butter cake with no chocolate in the batter.  Some of the cakes looked dark but had light colored frosting, like they had peanut butter in the frosting.  I would like to help you, but could you give a little more info?

Oh gosh, thank you both so much for replying!!  That recipe from google looks close but I don't recall chunky pb - still looks very good though.  It's just.....darnit I made that TOH one so many times and everyone loved it! :)

Margaret, if you could find that I would be ever so grateful!!  I know I started subscribing in 95 or 96 and I only subscribed for about 3 or 4 years - I'm thinking it would have been fairly early because I remember being a newlywed and trying sooo many of the recipes!  It's got a beautiful picture of it, it's a pb layer cake and then the chocolate frosting.  THANK YOU!!
