An Elusive Apple Pie Recipe Request

I was at a family holiday get-together several years ago and a friend of a family member brought probably the most delicious apple pie I had ever eaten.I never was able to get the recipe but I do know that it had a creamy filling and used powdered non-dairy creamer in the filling. Might anyone know where I could find the recipe or might have one similar? Would like to find one soon so I can make it for the holidays. Thanks a bunch!

I found a recipe at this web site.  Check it out and see if it is similar to what you had.

Re: An Elusive Apple Pie Recipe Request

Hi-Thanks for the suggestion, I'm not sure because I have never heard of Swedish apple pie but the closest thing I have found to what I had is  a recipe for German apple pie which takes heavy cream poured over the apple filling before baking. I have not tried that recipe yet but I am going to for Thanksgiving and see how it compares with what I remember. And it could have been something she just decided to add to the filling to make it creamier.  It could be a version of Swedish apple pie as you mentioned. In the mean time I will keep searching.. Thanks a bunch-Happy ThanksgivingSmile
