Margaret, when you wrote about Dr. Oz, I thought you meant you went straight to the DVR to cancel out all the scheduled recordings of the "Dr.Oz Show", lol. Don't we all have enough recipes now to choke a horse though?? Dang, I have recipes and cookbooks from my father the baker when he went to baking school in Germany in the 1920's, for heaven's sakes!! And now, with dh being diabetic, can't really make any of those things in good conscious anymore anyway. We are doing well just to do portion control as it is............ It is interesting to know men do more "saving" than women. When you think about what goes in garages and sheds, it does make sense though.
Janie, I understand what you mean about the blessings of some showers, at least you get that. Is water expensive, (I imagine it would be), and how often do you get a "delivery" ? When we visited the Grand Canyon, the town near there where we stayed, the people had to have water deliveries made just like newspapers, you subscribed to it in fact.
I'm wondering as to how Linny feels, if she had to go to rehab already or will wait until tomorrow? And Dava, and her kitty too, wondering if they found the kitty or what happened?
I had to get a new computer yesterday, but our son can't install it till next Saturday. Had to drive down 2 hrs. to the "big" city (Chico) to Wal Mart, they didn't have the one I wanted, wouldn't get it till who knows when, so went to Costco. They only had one for over $600, and I wasn't gonna pay that much, so wound up at the hated Best Buy, and did finally get one. Had to search for a salesclerk, and then had to struggle to figure out the price, then they try to sell you that warranty and on and on, I kept saying "NO", just want the danged computer!! lol We had lunch at a place near the university, sandwich shop, had a veggie sandwich. Lots of people walking around with pink and blue and lavender hair, old hippies, and so on, we are not used to a city anymore folks. Were glad to get back home up here in the mountains.
Waving at all of you, wishing you well!!!
