Hello Again ladies.it's turned out to be a beautiful day, but a cool one. WE've had a busy day, and it feels good to sit down. DH and i went to BJ's to pick up a fw things, then it was off to the Halmark store. WE found the ornament I wanted,, it's sp pretty, you could put a light in it, andf the angel lights up, I can't wait to put it on our Christmas tree. besides the ornament, we picked up our christmas cards, besides dh and i getting a card for eachother, we buy for the boys, and I also give my four sisters a special card too. I just took the laundry off the line, it dried nicely, on a breezy day like today. I decided on roasted chicken, stuffing, salad and gravy for supper. Thats it for now. Hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday.

    HUGS!

    Good Evening June Friends!!

What a day. Today was Caitlyn's birthday party. We went to Build-A-Bear and that was so much fun. After that, we came back to the house and the kids all played while we waited on the pizza. The one girl was late, but I had planned for that. After we ate, the girls did blind-fold makeovers on each other. It was so funny. Caitlyn's cake turned out real cute, but what a pain I had getting done. I made the cake, went to turn it out of the pan and it totally stuck. I don't know how it could have stuck with as heavily as I sprayed the pan. So, I ran to the commissary, bought more cake mix and rebaked. This time, I lined the pan with waxed paper. Worked like a charm. I will try to post pictures when I get them. The one girl's mom came and took pictures for me. My video camera doesn't take very good still shots. She took bunches and said she'd e-mail them to me.

Anyway, I am beat. I have a little bit of cleanup to do and then I am planting my behind on the couch.

By the way, my Saturday weight check showed another 2 pound loss. For the first time since 2007, I am under 200 pounds. I was very excited.

Dowie, the yard is fine. although there a couple things in the back yard I need to work on and the lawn back there needs to be mowed. The carport does have boxes in it and an old exercise bike and part of a fence that I removed from the front yard of the other house after the drunk driver hit it. I paid cash for that fence up front so I figured I was entitled to it. I just think it is weird that nobody has said a thing in all these years and now all of a sudden it is a huge issue. I'm not saying I shouldn't clean it up, but it would be nice if they would give me more than a week. I just hope I can fit it all into the couple of rooms it could fit in until I get a chance to go through some of the boxes and see what I can give away. Otherwise I will be renting a storage spot for a month or so and trying to get the contractor from church to install one of those drop down attic staircases so I can put some of it up in the attic. I have no clue if Mike called it in or not. He might have but he might not have. THe paper I got says that when the city comes out to inspect to see if it meets their approval, they also look at other houses in the neighborhood for what they call blight violations. It is possible somebody else had a complaint lodged against them. I've just had it up to my neck with the city between the hassle at the other house that was finally resolved, the hassle they are giving the church, and now this.

I ended up having steamed veggies and grilled chicken breast for lunch. I heated it in the microwave and threw it in my lunch box. However, I did have my dose of comfort food for dinner. I went by the church to see if I could clean it but the women's Bible study was still there and I can't clean it while they are there and I won't do it after dark by myself....so the contractor said he would get back in touch with me and if he doesn't I will go as soon as it gets light in the morning, clean it up real quick and then hop over to Cracker Barrel for breakfast or something.

I am going to try to get a load of dishes and a load of laundry done tonight and read or crochet or something.

I expect the football game to be not worth watching. ASU has lost the last 3 weeks in a row and we have one of our toughest opponents this week. We are playing USC. We have a player I really dislike right now. He is constantly getting called for unsportsmanlike conduct and such like. He is lucky I'm not the coach. I don't care how good he is....anybody who deliberately does things like late deliberate hits on the quarterback and things just to try to hurt people would be benched or off the team until he can learn to be a good sport. I'm not just talking good hits.I don't have a problem with that. If you ever see a game, watch him. He is number 7. Awful. At first on listening on the radio I thought it was the refs, but then I got to watching on TV and even the ASU announcers were pointing out what he was doing.

Patti, dinner sounds great. Margie, would love to go to that craft show. Sounds really neat.

Can't even find time to get groceries though (LOL).

I guess this thing with the carport does away with my idea of putting the freezer in the carport for a day or two (LOL).
