    Peanut Brittle Bars

    Peanut Brittle Bars

    Yield: 1 Serving

    2 c all-purpose
    - flour plus 3 tablespoons,
    - divided
    1/2 c packed dark brown sugar
    2/3 c butter
    2 c cocktail peanuts
    1 c dark chocolate chunks
    12 oz caramel ice cream topping

    Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Line 15x10-inch baking pan with foil.
    Grease foil and set aside. For crust, combine 2 cups flour and brown
    sugar in medium bowl. Using pastry blender, cut in the butter until
    mixture is crumbly. Press mixture into bottom of prepared pan. Bake
    about 12 minutes or until golden brown.

    Sprinkle peanuts and dark chocolate chunks over crust. For topping,
    stir together caramel topping and 3 tablespoons flour in small bowl.
    Drizzle topping over nuts and chocolate. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or
    until caramel is bubbly.

    Cool in pan on wire rack. Using foil, lift bars out of pan. Carefully
    peel foil from sides of baked mixture. Cut into bars.
