Ground Beef, Broccoli & Swiss Crescent RollUps

    1 1/2 pounds ground beef
    2 beef bouillon cubes, crushed
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1/2 tsp. dried Thyme
    1/2 cup thinly sliced celery,
1, 4 ounce jar sliced mushrooms
1, 10 ounce package frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained
    2 cups grated Swiss cheese
    1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls
    1 beaten egg

Brown and drain ground beef. Add bouillon, garlic celery and broccoli
and heat through. Add cheese. Stir until melted and mixed well. Allow to cool 5
    - 10 minutes.

Roll out each crescent roll pastry onto it's own greased cookie sheet. Pinch
seems. Place 1/2 of the filling down the center, long ways. Pull sides up and
pinch closed. Brush with egg. Sprinkle with a little dried or fresh thyme. Bake
    at 350 degrees F. for 15 - 20 minutes, or golden brown.

    Slice to serve.

Hey!  Yesterday I copied a recipe that calls for 2 cans crescent rolls.  I let my coupons do some of my shopping the other day, and now I know what to do with that third can that the coupons "talked me into".  Thanks!  Lynn in Cabot
