    RE: Homemade popsicle recipes

    Strawberry Pops
    2 C. pineapple juice
1 sqauare can frozen strawberries in syrup
1 individual strawberry yogurt (approx. 1/2-3/4C. size)

Mix all ingredients in blender. Pour into molds and freeze.

How could this be more healthy when there is way more sugar in it/??

    RE: Homemade popsicle recipes

Bumping now that the warm weather is here.

Today I made yogurt pops and my 15 month old loves them. I took about 1 1/2 cups organic vanilla banana yogurt and mixed it with several chopped strawberries and just a tiny bit of apple juice to make it a bit thinner so I could pour it into the popsicle molds.

I also made pudding pops - just prepare a package of instant pudding and then freeze in molds.

I'm going to have to cut and paste all these recipes!!!  My DS and DD made their own pops last weekend.  They used plain yogurt, cran-grape juice and chopped strawberries and cherries.  Put their mix in a dixie cup w/a stick (they took apart wooden clothes pins that had not been used).

That post from miamax was June 15 2006.  I don't think we'll see her secret recipe.

    Re: RE: Homemade popsicle recipes

I make all my popsicles starting with a pkg. of jello, and add different things.
Last week when my gs was here (a very finicky eater) I blended a banana, a can of fruit, and some yogurt with the prepared jello, and put in  Tupperware popsicle holders.  The jello keeps the popsicles from being solid ice.

I also make the fudgesicles with a pkg of instant pudding, 2 cups of milk and a little extra cocoa for a deep chocolate taste.  Sometimes I add the malted milk powder.
