Need help with address bar

    Need help with address bar

    Last week I somehow lost the address bar thats under the tool bar. I now have got it back, but when I type in a web site - the curser blinks, but the site doesn't come up.

    When I right click on the bar - the only thing not checked in the little box that pops up is "links" and if I check that, it just says links in the place where the address bar is.

    Can anyone help?

    Try hitting "F11." When I do that, it enlarges the screen and removes the address line. I hit F11 to get it back.

    Is your operating system XP?

    If so, go to "Start", "programs" "Accessories",
    "system tools" and "system restore". Try restoring to a date that the address bar worked.

    Thanks for trying to help. I finally got the bar back by right clicking on the address bar and checking the little box that came up.
