    Does any one know anything about Moishe? I am trying to find out if he was a prophet or a priest.
    I have been doing some Bible studing and came across his name but I can not find information on him.
    Could you please help me.( I do believe he was Jewish.)

    I found some creepy stuff while I was searching, as in an Oija Board spirit with the same name, and other things that sort of 'creeped me out' so I stopped looking!

    Go to a couple places like www.gospelcom.com or www.crosswalk.com and see what they have there by doing a search.

    MOISHE is a Yiddish form of the Hebrew MOSHE, meaning DRAWN OUT [OF THE WATER].
    MOSES is the Anglicized version of MOSHE.
    Variant spellings - MOSHE - MEISHE

    Biblical name – MOSES was the leader who brought the Israelites out of bondage in Egypt and led them to the Promised Land (Exodus).

    The letters featured in this painting are MEM YUD YUD SHIN AYIN. Taken together they spell MOISHE.

    I have been reading books by Jim LaHaye/Jerry B. Jenkins.
    Their books are stories about Revelation and they do tend to bring a lot of Bible verses into the story.
    They think that Eli and Moishe (Moses) will be the two witnesses.
    Most of the book (actually books) is fictional but they are tieing Revelation into it.
