VIENNESE DINNER IN A CASSEROLE
1 lb lean chopped meat
½ lb flat noodles
1 Tbls poppy seeds
½ lb grated cheddar cheese
1 pint sour cream
Paprika
Brown hamburger, breaking it up gently until pink is mostly gone. Drain and put aside.
Cook and drain noodles. Toss gently with poppy seeds and cheese.
Butter a 2 qt. casserole and alternate layers of the noodle mixture, the sour cream and the beef with enough sour cream reserved to dollop on top. Sprinkle with paprika to suit your taste.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
Add frozen vegetables in the middle if you want.
