I am going to wing it and make either chicken or pork loin roast with apple nut stuffing. I never made stuffing like this before but I don't think it will be a problem. Actually GmawMary you pork with cranbery wild rice stuffing sounds great! Maybe I will just come to your house for dinner.Big SmileMrsCrickets

Lately, I refuse to repeat Thanksgiving dishes.  I do 2 meals.  One on Christmas Eve with my children and our aunt.

I'll do salmon, herbed rice, a chicken and pasta dish, broccoli salad (her fave), a green veggie dish, hot rolls, and a dessert.

On Christmas: Shrimp, crab cakes, talapia fillets, potato salad, a small beef roast, mac -n-cheese, a small dish of stuffing (one Christmas carryover for DD), Left over herbed rice, sweet potato pie.

Our tradition is Prime Rib, twice baked potatoes with our special sour cream, spinach casserole, salad and Christmas cookies and egg nog ice cream for dessert! Simple and sublime!

    :)
