Help _ I have a question about cooking ribs

This is my first time on the new website, I hope I can still request help. I received the Feb 2008 simple and delicious magazine and I saw some slow-cooked ribsthat sounded really good. I went to the grocery store and picked up country style ribs but they have bones and the recipe calls for boneless. Can I still use them for this recipe or will they just not cook in the slow cooker? I was hoping this could be tomorrows dinner, so I really hope to hear back from someone, please!! Awal

They should be fine, but they will probably cook a little faster since they have bones.  Just keep an eye on them.  Good luck and please post the recipe if you get a chance.

    Slow-Cooked Ribs
    From Simple & Delicious
4 pounds boneless country-style pork ribs
    1 cup barbecue sauce
    1 cup Catalina salad dressing
    1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
    2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
    1/4 cup cold water
Cut ribs into serving-size pieces. Place in a 5-qt. slow cooker. Combine barbecue sauce and salad dressing; pour over ribs. Sprinkle with garlic. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or until meat is tender.
Remove ribs and keep warm. Strain cooking liquid into a small saucepan; skim fat. Combine flour and water until smooth; stir into cooking liquid. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Spoon sauce over ribs.  Yield: 8 servings.

    Thanks for the advice!!

I thought I would let you know, I cooked the ribs tonight and they were excellent!  Even my very picky DS ate 3 servings. I will definitely make them again.
