    White Chicken Chili

I am having a bowl of this as I type --- very good ....

1 1/2 cups dry cannelinni beans
3 cups water and dry chicken broth --- to strength you like
    1 tblsp oil
    3 chicken tenders
    1 onion, chopped
    1/8th bell pepper
    1/2 cup of water
1/2 pkg McCormick's white gravy mix
1/3 pack Mccormick's mild chili mix

Cook beans until almost done and then transfer to crock pot and turn on low.

Chop your onion and bell pepper, and put in a skillet with the oil.  Begin to saute, do not have to brown.  Season your chicken tenders, and add them to the pan with the onions and peppers.  Brown on both sides.

Remove chicken and chop and return to pan.   Mix water, gravy mix and chili mix, pour over chicken and veggies.  Let cook for 1-3 minutes.  Then pour all into crock pot with beans.  Turn crock pot onto high, and cook for about 30 minutes.

Serve with some crusty bread.  I think we all know how crusty bread enhances soup --- of any kind!

    Hello beeje.

This recipe sound really yummy, and I'd really like to make it. I don't understand the part in the ingredients though that says dry chicken broth. I feel really dumb asking but I've never heard of dry chicken broth. Where in the store do I get it?? spices isle??

Thanks for taking time to answer my dumb question. lol  Embarrassed

This sounds delicious. Not sure if you know that McCormick's has now come out with white chili seasoning?  A while back I was looking for regular chili mix and saw the white chili mix.
