Looking for Old Hershey's Chocolate Cake Recipe

I made a recipe from the back of a Hershey's Cocoa container years ago. It was a chocolate cake with a Chocolate whipped cream frosting. Does anyone happen to have that one?  The chocolate whipped cream recipe is not on their current packages. The current chocolate cake recipe may be the same, I have not way to be sure. I've searched Hershey's website, came up empty handed. Thanks!

I found a Hershey's cookbook with several icings and frosting. All I could find was a whipped cream filling. I don't see why you couldn't use it fora frosting maybe add alittle more powdered sugar. Here it is.

    Whipped Cream Chocolate Filling

1 cup heavy cream (whipping cream)

    1/2 cup confectioners sugar

    2 tablespoons hershey's cocoa

    1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Whip cream until slightly thickened. Add confectioners sugar, cocoa, and vanilla. whip until stiff.

Makes about 2 cups cream filling.

I don't know if it's the same, but my go-to chocolate cake recipe, which always gets rav reviews is the one from the back of the Hershey's cocoa container.  Sorry I don't have it handy or I'd post it here.

I have a small Hershey's 1934 cookbook. It has several icing recipes in it. This is one of them. Don't know if its what you are looking for though. The picture of this icing in the book is a very light brown in color. I am copying it as printed in the book.

    Fluffy Chocolate Icing

    1 cupful granulated sugar...1 cupful water...pinch cream of tartar...2 egg whites...1/4 cupful Hershey's Cocoa...1/2 teaspoonful vanilla.

Dissolve the sugar in the water, and add the cream of tartar.  Boil to the soft ball stage. (A small amount of mixture forms a soft ball when dropped into cold water, 234 degree F.)  Beat egg whites until very stiff, then pour syrup  in thin stream over them, beating all the time. Continue to beat until frosting is cool and of right consistency to spread, about 10 minutes. Carefully fold in cocoa and vanilla.

Yeild: About 2 and 1/2 cupful icing or enough for an 8- or 9 inch layer cake.

There is anothe recipe for icing called Aunt Jessies Chocolate Icing. It is the recomended recipe to go with the Hershey's Special Cake. This recipe calls for 2 squares Hershey's baking chocolate. If you are interested I can print that one too.

I have a coy of the 1934 Hershey's cookbook. I do not see a chocolate whipped cream icing in there.

There are 10 different chocolate cake recipes, so not sure which one you might want ,MoHills. Can you give me more info? I'll be glad to post the recipe if we can figure out which one.
