I don't think there is much difference between dial-up and hugh speed right now. Sometimes the line in the answer box comes in real fast, sometimes it takes forever.

And I have the same complaint about having to go to "Back" 3 times to get to the thread.

Maybe all the fancy siggies, pictures and avatars also have something to do with it,. And then those many different chatrooms and groups slow things down.

I wish they would have just upgraded the old board to have pictures agan (I can sure do without siggies) and better "security", taken off a few of the subject that are visited seldom and instead put  in the same numkber of new ones like Crafter's Chat. There is very little traffic in some of the others. Budget Living isn't the liveliest thing, after all, how many hints about saving can you post when all it takes is some common sense.

Oh well, some times it feels good to b!tch even if it doesn't change anything.

I like the new board for the most part.  I do think moderators are horribly slow to remove offensive stuff, but for all I know they could be volunteers.  Way too many things in life to do than be bored on a board.

SOF green writting.  If I recall correctly, I believe it was the winner of the Miss America pagent.  Or somthing like that!  She had looks and no brain!  It was a great laugh!

at least they could put a kitchen chat att he bottome, without those stupid drop boxes.

You don't have to go back 4 pgs.  You only have to go to the top and click "kitchen chat" and that takes you back to page 1.  You don't have to go into the drop boxes, "kitchen chat' shows up in light blue under the boxes.

I posted "Hello" to find this blue box with KTCHEN CHAT in it.

Well, no such luck.

I DON't want to go back to page one. If I answer a post on page 2 I just want to go back to to the start of that same post on PAGE 2, not start all over again on page 1..

Has anybody found a way to do this without "Back"ing up all the time?

Grelo, this might help you.

At the very top of the page, where your back and forward arrows are, there is this really little arrow, pointing downward. Click on it, and you can choose some posts you want. I don't do that normally, but, you can see if it will help you.

You still have to scroll all the way to the top, which is aggravating.

Sara, i know you don't have to go into the drop boxes, but, if yo go over, they come down.

Catmint, I have known about the scrolling arrows since I have hadf a pc. That is not what I was talking about. It's kind of hard to explain........

Catmint...you're talking about the tiny black downward arrow between the back and forward arrows, right? That is a great tip!

The one I am talking about, is the one in the very top left corner. It is really small, pointing downward.
