Good morning everyone.  I took my computer in finally to get a few problems looked at, so was without for a few days.  I ended up getting a new tower instead of getting the old one fixed, so now I am back in cyberland..  Hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning from central Alberta.  It's dull and a bit drizzly today.  I need the sun to shine to be motivated!!!  Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.  My youngest is trying out for PeeWee AAA baseball on Sat & Sun.  He played last year so I don't think he'll have a problem making the team, but I'll still keep my fingers crossed for him.

Good (?) morning!  This cold is getting worse and worse!  Achey feeling stuffed nose, fever.  Oh the joys.  But my niece(es?) and nephew will be here soon, I get them for three hours, I had to beg my sister, I told her I would pay her if she would just let them come to my house!  They are the sweetest kids on the block, and my kids adore them.  But my sister thinks that no one would want them, so she makes them stay at home by themselves when she goes to work for three hours in the morning.  Apparently the kids are excited to come.  they are 6 and 9, the big sister is 12, I dont' know if she will come, apparently she likes to sleep late.

YF, I promise you an email today, you deserve one!  Havent chatted with you in forever!  One day you will phone me, I just have to bid my time until you do!

My 5 year old DD put on her baby cap that she got from the hospital (hand made by ladies in our town) she stretched it over her head, yes, it became a superhero hat!

Viola, I hope that the semi truck that run me over isn't going to run you over, it ran over Claire too!

Goodness, I think the Advil might be starting to kick in, think I am going to go get some Tylenol for the fever, so hot!  Got the window open, and it is probably about 20º in the house.

Ada, I would love to meet you too.

I know I talked to nana55 here and she would love to meet you as well.Please let me know when you can make it.

Back home from work, my muscles are aching. I think I will join you Char taking an Advil, my neck and back is acting up.

It's a dull overcast day, it rained this morning and now it's trying again.

I miss Crea too I called her Wed. and she was a little under the weather. Her puter will take awhile to get fixed, a man does it on his own time after work, so if he has a few it will take some time before he gets to hers.

It just doesn't feel right not to have Crea here.  I'll let her tell you about the jury duty.

hi everyone! what is this all about??? people feeling under the weather?? oh my!! it is spring!!!

i hope everyone that is not feeling well..........gets lots of rest and feel better soon!!

i saw some little kids outside playing yesterday. no coats. hmmmmmmmmm.........we all know that even though the temps feel sooooooooooooooo good, we need to still wear our jackets!! i bet those little guys end up sick!! so keep the coats/sweaters on!! save those flip flops for SUMMER.

it is so hard to rest, when we have little ones around.  maybe it is a good movie day ...........let all the moms relax and maybe get a wee nap!!

and for us old girls??? a little baileys in the coffee should give us a good "pick me up!!" LOL

emc, enjoy your vacation, we will all miss you!!!

viola, any jobs on the horizon?? i sat with a concert viola player on the train the other day. i thought of you. i know that something good will come up soon!! hang in there!! better days ahead!!

anyway, i finally have the laundry done, downstairs is clean. phew!! i feel better already about the joint!! lol

time to do a bit of baking.........get dinner prepped.  home alone. i love it!!

 I'm afraid there's nothing on the horizon, job-wise. I have recently been given some places to apply, but they're really not anything that anyone lasts at, for very long.

Concert violist, eh?...did you manage to get the name? The viola community is not all that large....we don't all know each other, but know OF each other. Those that are paying any attention, that is!

LOL, I should explain my remark about sleeping in a barn. I have a chat buddy who was being put-upon by life and circumstances and the telephone, amongst other things. The one place that she knew she'd not be found, was up in the hayloft, so she disappeared up there, and got herself a good 24 hours sleep...emerging re-energised and ready to take on the world once more! At one point, she was awake enough to hear that people were looking for her, and just didn't care! She knew her teens could take care of themselves, and would know that she had likely done just what she did! She's just that kind of character, too!

It does look like we're being deserted, doesn't it?
