Looking for a recipe for bread pudding, but a special one. This one has a bottom layer of custard (about an inch thick) and then the slices of bread on top (they are layered so one is partially on top of the last one) so when you scoop it out of the pan you have a layer of bread and then the custard. It not only tastes good but is very pretty to look at. It also has a vanilla sauce that is to die for. I have found a lot of bread pudding recipes on TOH but don't think I have found the right one yet. Altho, guess the looking and testing is fun too. I know someone has this recipe and is willing to share - Thanks - Carolyn
