Tea with Daddy

I am wantingto host a tea party for my grand daughters and their Daddy's.  Any suggestions that would make it fun for both.

What a Grand Idea! Perhaps a Daddy Daughter dance should be included in the festivities? I think it should be a rather hearty tea with more than dainty treats and perhaps some sort of memory activity. With Daddies, you might get those cement kits that create a stepping stone, or maybe something like creating a birdhouse or pine cone and seed bird treats.

Costumes would also be nice. I really have a vision of a very lovely time, had by all. Your friend, Mary

Maybe everyone could bring a favorite storybook. Mary mentioned costumes -- I remember my son going to a birthday party where everyone was to come as a favorite character from a book.

Also, most guys love gadgets -- how about having a camera to take digital pictures, or instant Polaroids, or even video, of the festivities? You could do some great "daddy-daughter" pictures.

Maybe hot tea and iced tea could be served along with sandwiches and cookies. Mini-hamburgers or cheeseburgers might be fun.

I'm sure you'll get some great ideas. What a fun party to plan!
