Only Five Months Until Christmas...Are You Ready?!?

Unless something jumps out at me, I don't start mine until November.  Every time I have tried to start early I end up changing my mind and getting something else.

I really don't like to think about Christmas yet but I guess I should start to look anyway.  We only buy a few gifts anymore for our grown kids but they all have everything so it gets harder and harder every year.  When I am doing craft fairs this fall maybe I will find something different that I can buy.  I do have to think about adding something to my website for Christmas but it just seems odd to be making Christmas things in July.  Maybe next month I will get in the mood for that. 

 I envy all of you who has everything bought and some even wrapped

Don't be bummed, Summer.  Think of the money you'll make at your Yard Sale as being revenue for your Christmas shopping.  See?!?  It's all good!

I talked to a friend the other day who had a sale earlier this summer.  She went thru countless hours of sorting, cleaning, pricing, hauling, etc.......and made a whopping $60 at the sale.  

So who knows, I may be more bummed about Christmas after my sale...

Okay, if you've already got ideas, or already bought for them...what have you got them, that they don't need in the meantime, or won't get before then?

This is my idea list for my kids plus their wish lists.  They will NOT be getting everything on the list.  We are trying to teach them Christmas is more than just presents under their tree.  Anyway, here goes: a couple of Nintendo DS games, cd's, DVD's (a couple aren't out yet, but I am hoping they will be by Christmas), new sheets, books, clothes (mainly pants and jammies), supplies for their pets, Ben 10 toys, Bratz outfits, and several items that I can't seem to remember right now.

Wow! You just made my day!  It's nice to meet a kindred spirit.  I live for Christmas!  Actually, I love fall (I live in Louisiana; I can dream, can't I) and all of the fall and winter holidays, but especially, CHRISTMAS!!

P. S. Does anyone know why I always have this Edit Tags at the bottom of all of my messages and how to get rid of it?

Not a chance!  I usually don't start looking until October.  I have a fairly short list though, so it isn't too big a deal.

Welcome, Cindi!  FWIW, My Birthday is December 26th so I am something of a Christmas Lunatic!

As for the Edit Tags...that's just part of the REPLY box.  Ignore it and it won't bother you.
