    REC: BEEF KABOB MARINADE

    BEEF KABOB MARINADE

    1 1/2 c. salad oil
    3/4 c. soy sauce
    1/4 c. Worcestershire
    1 c. red wine
    2 garlic cloves, chopped
    2 T. ground ginger
    2 T. dry mustard
    1 c. finely chopped onion.
Vegetables of choice: Carrots, onions, zucchini
Mushrooms, pineapple, green or red sweet pepper

Mix all ingredients. Add cubed sirloin beef. Marinate for at least 4 hours. Use marinade for basting Kabobs and vegetables while on grill.

NOTE: Beef chunks and marinade can be prepared in a zip-lock bag and frozen. When desired, remove bag from freezer and allow meat to "marinate" while mixture thaws in the refrigerator. Handy when company's coming on a work night!

Could you use red wine vinegar in place of the red wine or not?

    Thanks
