I thought someone just posted about mixing candy corn and dry roasted peanuts together in a bowl and eating them that way.  We do that here and it does taste just like a Payday bar.

I found this one that is suppossed to taste like butterfingers. This was the one I was thinking of myself. They also said the to taste like payday to eat candy corn and peanutes together, so I wonder if you would cut these into bars and roll into peanuts it would taste like payday????

A friend made this and it was wonderful! I haven't made it myself, but I got the
    recipe. Here it is:

    Butterfinger Candy

    1 lb. candy corn
    16oz jar peanut butter
    16oz pkg. chocolate candy coating

Melt candy corn in microwave on high 1 minute. Stir and continue cooking in
15-second intervals til melted, stirring after each interval. Stir in peanut
butter. Spread mixture in a buttered dish. Cool completely. Cut into squares.
Dip in melted chocolate candy coating. Lay on waxed paper to set.
I used a 12 oz. bag of candy corn and figured out that it would require 1-1/3 cups of peanut butter. I pressed it into an 8x8" pan that I lined with foil that I had greased. We tried a few that night (before they were completely chilled). We couldn't wait. The texture changes when they are completely chilled and they become even closer to the real Butterfingers.

i found this one just now and this is probably what you are looking for.

    RE: payday candy bar

Here's a recipe for Payday Candy. I have never tried it yet.

    PAYDAY BARS

    24 ounces dry roasted peanuts
    12 ounces peanut butter chips
    10 ounces marshmallows
    4 tablespoons margarine
    1 can sweetened condensed milk

Melt together chips, marshmallows, margarine and milk. Butter the bottom of a 9x13" pan. Put half of the peanuts in the bottom of the pan. Pour melted mixture over the peanuts. Sprinkle remaining peanuts onto the mixture. Press peanuts into the mixture. Refrigerate.

It is best to refrigerate overnight before cutting.
