I took a look in the freezer over the fridge yesterday and there is almost enough in there to feed the 2 of us this coming week Surprise There is enough fish for 2 meals and burgers for another 2 altho' I doubt we'll eat burgers and fish twice in a week.  Also have steak for a stirfry and enough ham for a pasta dish Wink

However tonight we'll have haddock with new potatoes and green beans, with leftover bluberry cobbler. As much as I can I want to use the veggies from the garden as they are ready so that may well determine just what we eat and when.  So far we have managed to eat the tomatoes that have ripened but I doubt we'll be able to keep up with them for much longer, peppers are about ready too and one or 2 of the cabbages are close.

How about you?  What are you planning for this week?

Went shopping last Friday and got some bargins so will be eating a few of them this week.   Bought a pork loin for 1.79 /lb. and had some of that Monday night.  like to make enough for 3 then that way DH will have some to take for his lunch the next day.  Found some polish sausage and thought I would make calico beans Wed, I know that is more of a winter meal but it sounds good.  Have some more steak to use up so that will probably be Thurs supper and I am really hungry for pizza so that will on the menu for Friday night.              Nancy

    Hi Tasty!

I am just a little bit late getting on this post.  Have had some problems with my shoulder, which has slowed me down a bit.  Hopefully, it will resolve itself soon.

So far this week, we have had:

BBQ chicken on the grill with corn on the cob

Steak on the grill with baked potatoes (done in the microwave) and green beans

Pork chops with onions braised with apple juice, pasta salad, and store bought apple pie.  (so much for the diet lately!)

BLT's on whole wheat toast, corn salad with red vinegar dressing, and leftover pie.

Tonite we are having chicken legs and thighs, new little potatoes, and tomatoes with Italian dressing.

Friday, I am hoping to go out to eat.  If not, we have a small pizza in the freezer and will have a side salad with it.

Sat-maybe leftover chicken in a salad with what is left of my fresh tomatoes and cucumbers. I also have some cheese that should be used, so it should be a nice Chef's Salad.  Maybe ice cream for dessert, as I have a small amount left from when the grandkids were over.

If you think your dog can't count, try putting 3 dog biscuits in your pocket, then give your dog only 2 of them!
