I finally located a telephone number for Aldi, Inc. Corporate Headquarters and asked about their maple syrup. When they said it was no longer carried in my area, I asked the syrup was available in Indiana or Illinois. She checked..... THE MAPLE SYRUP IS BEING DISCONTINUED IN ALL STORES, because it was not a big seller. It may be brought back for occasional specials. So, if you still have maple syrup in your store, stock up now. ~~Vicki
Thanks for the heads up!! Aldi's is the only syrup my kids will eat.. I don't know why but I've tried other brands and they just don't like them. I am going over in the morning to buy some if they still have it.. Kneeping my fingers crossed!
I was hoping Aldi's real maple syrup was only a drive away. Never expected to hear that it was discontinued.~~Vicki
Just a question, is this the real maple syrup or does it include the Aunt Maple's light and regular syrups too?
I called regarding the Grandessa real maple syrup. The pancake syrup with artificial flavoring is still in the stores.~~Vicki
Vicki, How does it taste? I was going to send DH to see if the Aldi store I go to had some left. Do you know what the price was?
Put On A Happy Face
Very tasty maple syrup and less expensive. In fact, I preferred it over many other brands. I don't know the current price, because it has not been available here for months.~~Vicki
Thank you Vicki!
I started to go to Aldi's after hearing about some of their products here. I like the price on their milk which is only $1.99 gallon.I'll let you know if I was able to get the maple syrup.
Vicki, No maple syrup. I looked and looked and didn't see any. I talked to a young man who worked there and he told me he hasn't seen the syrup for months. He did remember how the bottle looked, but didn't know how much the syrup cost when they did carry it.
Keep an eye out for occasional promotions including Grandessa syrup... I believe there are three varieties: maple, praline, and blueberry. ~~Vicki
Thank you Vicki for the tip!
