I have a large non stick pan that has started sticking. Any ideas on what I can do to clean it. I tried baking soda. That didn't help. I use low heat and everything still sticks.
My advice is to throw it out. If the nonstick coating is scratched and peeling, it is releasing chemicals and particles from the coating into your food. It's not worth the risk. Sorry!

"It's not cooking if you're not making a mess."
It's not cracked or peeling. If it was, yes it would be long gone. Thanks.
Have you used aerosol sprays in it, such as PAM, CRISCO NON-STICK, etc. ? That causes a buildup on non-stick skillets that you can practically never get off....that's why I recently switched to a pump sprayer I fill with my own oils....works beautifully. You might try this, tho I personally haven't had the need to use it:
Burnt food spots on my stove for a couple of days that wouldn't come off just by wiping. I made a paste of 1 tsp. white vinegar and 2 tsp. cream of tartar and put in on the spots. After 15 seconds, it came off like magic. It works on pans, too!
Good luck, fellow KANSAN !!

here is what i do. remove the handle if it is plastic. then rub the inside with corn oil. put in the oven at 250 degrees for at least 1/2 hour, then let it sit until until cooled. then wash and rub with a light coat of corn oil.
this has worked on some of my non-stick pans when they start to stick. good luck. just beware it doesn't work with all pans and make sure if you try it to remove the plastic parts. i learned the hard way on that one.
this is not my tip. i read it in tip from heloise.
