Crea, I got the copy you sent of the letter from the Humane Society. What a nice thing for all of you to do in Joe's memory. He had a real soft spot for our furry friends and would be so pleased. As you probably remember, Tucker the Purrrrfectly Good Cat, was adopted from a shelter, and the day we got him, I was afraid we were going to go home with a whole truckload of cats and dogs because Joe didn't want to leave any of them behind! I have to admit that I felt the same way
In these hard times, there are lots of pets that get left behind or otherwise abandoned, and the humane societies can use all the help they can get--it's not like the poor critters can help themselves--so your kindness is appreciated by the shelters, the critters, and me!
Gramma, thought I better send that copy onto you. You shd of got a personal letter from them, well you may still. thats why I asked if you got a letter with Paws on it. LOL
We are all happy here to help the fury friends and knowing that Tucker came from the shelter makes it special as well.
You bet they need out help-in Ontario they get nothing to run the shelters other than donations.
