    Good morning ladies,

Got up early went for  a walk at 6:00am even then it was humid, nice in temp. Had to go to DS house to let Roxie out , she is always so happy to see me, because I bring here treats. She will be ok now till this afternoon, I'll spend more time with her, she is a good dog .

Eija, hope the weather cooperates with the residents of your area, somew hot and dry weather for a change and we'll take your rain. When I was driving tis morning, I can tell the people who water their lawn so nice and green, the rest of us have brown dry grass. Did your hairdresser fix your hair, nice and even now?

Pat we are also staying home, too much traffic on the roads....better to stay put. If I remember does prairielily live in Sask?

Char go east to go camping you will melt from the heat, sorry for you and the family to stay home for the long weekend. I sure would love to move away from here, and go to a place where humidity doesn't exist...then I will be able to take any temp that comes my way. I think BC pretty well covers that request of mine. Have a nice weekend ladies,

    YF

Good morning ladies....a rainy morning here, Maria. I wish I could send it your way. All this water is making it humid here too. But normally my part of the province is not that way, just a dry heat. I like it better that way.  We are supposed to have thunderstorms this afternoon with a risk of hail. Hoping those stay away. That is what was forecast last Saturday, and that is what caused a lot of the problems east of us.

We had our grandkids here yesterday. They are staying out at the other grandparents place, but dil stopped here  first. So the kids stayed with us, for supper, and then we drove them to their favourite place, the airport. Took them for ice cream, and then we took them out to where they were staying. We will see them again tomorrow...for supper. They will go home on Monday.

Yes, my hair was fixed. She said it was hard because my hair tends to curl inward in the back. And I do know that.

Not sure what we will do today. Might hit Costco. I had planned on some yardwork, but with the rain, that is not going to happen.

Hope you all have a good day, and I hope you can stay cool, Maria!

    Happy last day of June,

The early morning clouds have vanished, leaving a clear blue sky with sunshine.  There is a chance of thenderstorms from noon on but we can use some moisture, just not the ice balls.  Fingers crossed the temperatures stay at a comfortably warm level.

DH and I headed to town and spotted smoke just east of our neighbour's yard.  We turned around, and sounded the alarm.  Some firebug had started 3 separate fires in the ditch grass and then moved on to set an even larger fire a few miles east.  We could see that smoke too.We stuck around until things were under control at the original fires and then carried on.  Some people have no sense common or otherwise.

I'll probably have a super quiet day here at home getting a few more projects crossed off the list and maybe even get the laundry completely caught up.  I think it should be safe now to get the winter coats moved out of the entryway.  I will also plot out the major furniture shuffle for this main level. I hope to get the pool table and cover out of the kitchen and return the other tables to their original spots.  That will be shuffle!!!

Yes YF, prairie lily is one of the SK bunch.

Have yourself a good day and I'm off to get busy at something productive.
