Good morning ladies,
Another beautiful day for us, no rain in sight and hotter temps will be here for the weekend. Today I have to clean the house (again) but it's not a big house.
Hope that Pat/Eija will enjoy their camping get away. The ladies deserve it and so does Char. Dan is working, there will be many more chances to go camping. Kaeli looks so grown up in the pics, better watch the boys. They will be around her like bees on honey, I can see Dan now watching out for his little girl.
Nice to see you drop by RD, I know life is busy, we would be bored without it.

Aaaaarrgghh.... this TOH site............drives.............me............nuts.
It...............is..................always........................always................ always .................... soooooooooooooooooooooooo............ slow.
And then today... I couldn't get on using the CC icon on my desktop.... got an error message. Tried again.... same thing. Then tried to get on through my "favourites".... same thing. So I went to the TOH site.... recipes..... then accessed "community" ...... then accessed "forums" ................ and then finally accessed "CC" ......successfully.
Nothing I have to do today. I think I will work outside for a few hours this morning and then work on my knit blanket this afternoon. I expect I will be able to work on the deck with that because it is going to be beautiful here. David works nights (F/S/S) so I will have to be quiet. I plan easy sausages on the BBQ for tonight so another easy one. Perhaps potato salad so before I go outside to the garden, I had best boil potatoes and eggs.
Tutoring was easy yesterday. My grade nine boy has EQAO (government testing) next week. But you don't have to pass that to pass the course so we are not in panic mode. There are lots of sample questions on their website and we worked through 2011 last night. I left 2010 behind for him to work on and expect to go one extra time next week.
So off to do my boiling

Good morning. It's cold again. Too much rain in some areas, PG has flooding and some evacuations. We missed the rain, and that's okay, it did rain last night.

Aleida, I haven't had many problems getting into ToH, so it could be your server or the computer. I believe yours may be a little older than mine. I'm still on XP, which I'm satisfied with so far. It does freeze on occasion, which drives me batty. With my older computer I did have to go via-via to get to CC sometimes, but I rarely have trouble getting through on this one. Have you done a disk defrag lately? I really don't think it's the Taste of Home site.
Time to shower and dress and get lunch ready for DH, then I'm headed for town.

Hello. Noudder it could be my computer... probably is older than yours but it has served me well.... it is XP. But it is only on TOH .... not even on Birds and Blooms where I visit regularly. My stitching website is light years faster.
However the error message about not being able to display the page.... that is definitely from the site.... at least I would think it is..... and right now TOH seems to working for me again.
I know it could be my computer but I also read on KC and I often see others writing about the slowness of the site. I just don't know.
