Good morning Maria. Another hot one here in Ontario. We got some surprise rain yesterday afternoon. Despite that David did water the plants already this morning. And the number of times I had to reset the clock yesterday because of power outage flicks...whatever you call that....well too many. But I was smart and only reset the clock in the living room and left the alarm clock in the bedroom until bedtime.
David and I have chiropractor appointments in just over an hour. After that.... a lazy day. I will attempt to work on my ABC blanket but it is frustrating me very much. I can't wait for this part to be done.

How are of you doing this morning? I survived yesterday, it will be a repeat today of this incredible hot weather and still no rain. Oh well there is nothing we can do about it.
My DB flatlined the drs were able to revive him, they put a stent in his heart he still has another bloodclot. Of course he is on blood thinners, yesterday afternoon, they transferred him back to his hometown. We were going to see him today but my DGD graduation is today, so that means we are going tomorrow to see my brother. Over the last two months he has gone through a lot his cancer is multiple melanoma. For the time being no chemo for him, its hard for his heart. He had a heart attack when he was only 44, now he is 63. Please keep him in your prayers....Thank-you.

Aleida, there is no law to say that your dog has to be on a leash when on his own property. She has a mental issue, I think she didn't have control of her own dogs. What did David say about the crazy lady? Hope she didn't upset your day.

Eija, going shopping today? I think you ladies in the west are so lucky not to put up with the humidity, to see the mountains and all the fresh air. If I were younger I would move there, but now its too late.

We had a brief rain shower over night so the grass is too wet to mow this morning. There might be a few more sprinkles later today too. Hoping so.

Good morning all. It is sunny here this morning. I did get the lawn mowed yesterday afternoon and finished just after supper. About an hour after I did, the skies opened up again! I sure hope the rain is done for a few days now. We need some nice weather, so the river doesn't come up as fast.

Maria, we are fortunate not to have the humidity here in Kamloops, although there are occasions just before a thunderstorm that it gets like that. But at the coast of BC, the humidity is awful. I don't like to go to the Vancouver area in the summer. I have a hard time with that. I feel for you if that is what it is like for you!
RD, rain, rain , rain... I know what that is like. We have had much more rain than usual for June.
Good morning! I did come on yesterday and read the posts, but it was acting all weird and obsesivly slow and wouldn't let me post! I never did have time after to come back! I had coffee company and at 11:30 a bunch of boys came for a birthday party. I was outside with them. They had a wiener roast and played lots of soccer and had a scavenger hunt. then I ended up taking Zac to soccer because Dan didn't finish work when he thought he would. And had my mom finish making my pizza. then I came home and hoped Dan would pick up Zac (which he did, but had to quite work before he was done) I made 2 birthday cakes, and the adult one was all eaten, two of the people do NOT like rhubarb yet both of them had 2 pieces each! The kids had confetti cake from a box! Kids don't like fancy dessert thingies.
YF, sorry to hear of the things your brother is enduring right now, so sad, hard to see people go thru that. Makes me glad my dad didn't suffer at all, just left quickly and quietly. Wish we could grab some of your heat, it's cool and always wet in BC this year, straight across the province!
EMC, hope the weather improves, I know we are suppose to get a low system bringing in warmer temps, but also rain, they say speeding us snow melting, so that is a problem for you guys of course, even our river is extremly high, and all the lakes are so above normal. I know they said that BC was suppose to be a cooler and wetter year then normal, it makes me sad.
Aleida, I can just see you covered in flowerbed dirt! Must have been a sight! Crazy lady, hope she didn't ruin your day. Your yard is off limits for her rules!

Busy busy for us, doing youth tonight, unexpected, but someone needs wants Dan's help so invited the youth to come out for wiener roast. That's fine, but it is another busy week for us, and next week we are suppose to move!! Let's hope the trailer is there before the July long weekend!! Maybe one of these evenings this week we will go see little Jazz. she's probably running around by now, cute stage! Today I need to clean house and go to town, and clean for my friend. That's about all.
I can't take much more of this heat, everyday the temp is 42. When will it end? Going to see my DB tomorrow tonight my DGD graduation from grade 8, she had her makeup and hair done at Shoppers Drug Mart.
She is such a good girl very quiet, and easy to please. Also a good student, she loves school and wants to get a career. Her brother on the other hand doesn't like school at all. I know he can do better but right now he doesn't realize how important it is.
