Sorry I got here later but took Lexi for an earlier walk. I won't do that again she missed seeing her friends.
We went to see my brother yesterday he had just gotten home, from the hospital. He looks like he run run over by a truck, he has bruises all over his arms. They are due to blood thinners and he is on 4 of them. He looked like he went on a crash diet, by all the wieght he lost. He only has a small part of his heart working, the rest is dead. If he ever has another heart attack he won't make it.
I also made a mistake by telling you he has melanoma its multiple myeloma, which is cancer of the bone marrow. The reason for his constipation is his intenstines don't make the wave movement which causes the stools to move his don't move anymore.
All in all he has his problems, I worry about him, and told him not to do any kind of work around the house. Cause his heart won't take it.
Sorry ladies I can't respond to every post from yesterday, I have a sore throat from the a/c in the car.

So sorry to hear about your brother. A tough time for all. I cannot imagine all you are going through right now.

And now a sore throat because of A/C.... that sucks!!! So hot you need it and then... you suffer because of it.

Good morning ladies. Well, we have a steady stream or rather lake in the basement. Not deep, but it is there, in all the rooms. Not getting any better. We are not sucking it, but letting it run into the big hole in the hallway floor. It is a dry sump home of sorts..but it is not dry. We can see the level of the ground water in this hole. There is a pipe, a big one, that has a flap on it. When the water gets to a certain point, the water runs into the sewer. The water that is coming in through the cracks and corners, is running into the hole basically. There are low spots on the floor, that we have gone and tried to moved the water from. None of what we tried yesterday was very successful, so we basically are just letting the water run. Hoping that the forecast for rain for the province is not going to be as bad as they are predicting, but that will be a disaster for us. But we shall take it as it comes. DH said don't worry, won't help. And that is true, but I am a worrier.
So that is what is going on at my house. DH is at work. I did call him home yesterday and we did try, but gave up.Our neighbours do not have this hole in the floor like we do, and they are using a couple of shop vacs steady to suck up the water.

It is another lovely summer day forecasted here--warm but not too warm with sunshine. I'll take it with a big smile.
Just made arrangements to head to town for lunch with my former co-worker. I'm looking forward to a catch up session. I also have a short list of items to add to the camper for next month's trip.
Hope the heat wave breaks soon for those in the east. We are just now getting back to seasonal temperatures.
Vehicle AC is so very drying on the throat. Drink lots of cool fluids YF. That will help.
