Hello, again. Doreen, I am so sorry you broke your arm! Here's to healing fast! (((Hugs))))

Tippy: I sure do hope this Critter Ridder works! I will be sure to let everyone know if it does.

NancyZ: LOL! I have to rest after I DO the work too!

Yes, we did get the rest of the cool weather things tucked into the ground today, also our petunias and moss rose., in spite of the wind that got up. DD put her moss roses in the wash tub I had given her several years ago for them, instead of the pots she had put the first ones in. She found a piece of screen wire, put it over the tub and anchored it down. Hopefully, it will keep the chipmunks from it. I sprinkled Critter Ridder around my flowers. It says don't use it around food plants! Darn! I will have to put out the bait blocks. I put out the two that I had last week and have only seen one big, fat chippy since then. I do smell the unpleasant smell of dead somethings out back and am hoping it is those chippies!

Poor Meow! You will probably hear it on the national news as he made it on there about this weight. He was the 40 lb. kitty that I mentioned to you before. Well, the poor things died today from respiratory problems. The vets tried their best but it was just his time. He had lost about 13 lb. on the diet they had him on but guess it was too late.

We had a terrible tragedy in Albuq. this week. A man came home from work and found his 74 year old father dead on the front porch. Apparently, the son's pit bull had killed him. The dog's name is Achilles and the son didn't want him put down, even after he killed his father! The city ruled the dog had to be put down. I am glad of that. Once he had killed, he would never have been safe. If they put down a dog for killing livestock, how much more should one be put down for killing a human! I don't understand that son's attitude.

Well, DD just got back from the barn chores so we are getting ready to eat and then relax for the evening, that is as much as Ranger will allow us! LOL!
