This is what I have been making with my embroidery machine along with 12 potholders for 2 fire stations, designs on my grandchildrens clothes and pillows, and many other things.I get my designs at Debra@emblibrary.com. They have 10,000 designs for anything you can think of. I download the designs on my blank card put it into my embroidery machine, prepare the hoop, push the button and the machine does the rest. It is amazing what those machines can do! It is a great place to go for Christmas ideas.
I have crocheted white thread onto ornaments just like this, but I would like to try embroidery too. Will my sewing machine do this? I know it will do some embroidery, but you mentioned that you put the designs into your machine, so I guess my sewing machine wouldn't do this. Looks very pretty!

Yes, I am a machine embroiderer and I love it. Would love to see some of the things you make. I embroidery a lot on my granddaughter's clothing. She loves it. I also get designs from embroidery library...My favorite site. I am going to the Quilting and Sewing Expo this Thursday in Chantilly, VA. They have some CDs of embroidery designs that you can buy and also other embroidery supplies, clothing patterns, fabrics, anything to do with sewing and embroidery. I buy my embroidery machine thread there at a very reasonable price. I could not afford to embroidery if I did not get my thread there. Good quality thread.
