Good Sunday morning!  Just starting us off.  Tell/show us what you've been up to.  A lot of gardening etc this time of year so yarning seems to take a back seat.  That's OK, check in and let us know how you are.  Linda

Not quite sure how that shawl will work out now- the strips will be rounded, and they won't join to each other easily, maybe I can join them like that other shawl I made and posted last month. I need to figure this all out.

I've been busy with family stuff and I always want to get on here every week day (week ends if possible, but then I'm not the only one home to use the computer!), so I haven't been getting into my yarn as fast as I want.

    Hello Everyone.

Finished hat last night to go on dress. Need to put the final touches on it. And then a picture of it the dress and blanket.

Busy with grandkids all weekend. Had to help at a fundraiser dinner on Sunday.

Mary I am sure you will get the shawl figured out.

Linda thanks for starting us off this week. Have a good day everyone. Jeanette

Can't wait to see the hat, Jeanette.  I'm picturing a summer type hat, am I right?

Whipped up another preemie hat; working on the decreases for the cupcake hat.  I've been putting together my summer projects because we will be migrating northward and I can't  be caught w/o projects.  LOL I'm thinking I've been a bit ambitious in what I hope to accomplish.  We aren't expecting much company this year so it should be primo knitting and reading time Yes

Have a good summer day!  Linda

You are right Linda. The little miss is due at the end of July so I made a summery newborn dress and sunhat to go with it.

I couldn't be caught without a project to do either. I agree Thumbs up on reading and knitting time.

It is very warm here today. It was yesterday also. Upper 90's.

Well back to work lunch is over. Jeanette

I started on that shawl now. I found enough thread, I think, to make it work. I'll attach the rows like I did the other shawl, so they will be strips. The fan stitches are interesting, so looks nice. I made a few fan stitches, and are nice.

Maybe we will get a bit of rain tonight and tomorrow- this is a real drought here.

Cupcake hat~done.  Preemie Magic Ball hat done; turned out really cute, amazing what you can make with itty bitty balls of leftover yarn Smile.  Kimono~1/2 done, just not feeling it.  Trying to decide what's next.  I'm on a preemie roll so may do another before I tackle a bigger project.

We got some much needed rain Mon.  I think the ground sucked that all up in no time and is ready for more.  Suppose to hit 90 again tomorrow for day #3 in a row.

I seem to be afflicted with "buying yarnitis"  Devil  Ever since I got these 1 Skein Wonder books I have been attracting yarn like a magnet Wink  Speaking of yarn I need to start a new project.  Linda

hello. I am typing from my iPad....and it seems not to give me any options as to font size/color...least I can't see that it does. It also doesn't do paragraphs here at TOH. It is very hot in Ontario....flowers are loving it. I am working on the ABC blanket. The vertical sew-togethers went fine. I am having a devil of a time with the horizontal sew-togethers. I cannot wait for it to be finished. this one finger pad typing....so slow. I look forward to pictures of all the finished projects

    Hi

Linda I have yarnitis buying syndrome also and I don't even have any of the 1 skein wonder books. You have gotten alot accomplished in a short time.

We got some much needed rain also last night 2 1/2 inches and no real storm with it at least in our area. And it has cooled off after 3 days in the 90's.

Hello to everyone that stops in. Have a good day. Jeanette

I better get back working on that shawl.

It has been hot the last month, but rain came for about 20 min. last night, then it just left clouds. I hate this "teasing" with rain. We really need a nice slow "soak" for the plants.

I tried my iPod with this site, and it didn't let me choose font size, color, etc. either. My husband uses a bluetooth keyboard with his iPad so he doesn't have to use the little keyboard on the screen.

It's cloudy, so it may be a good "crochet day" today.

Hello all.  Nice day here today, a little break from the 90* temps but still very nice.

Started a toddler rose hat.  I'm picking my projects based on the fall craft sale.  I have one skein of yarn that I was going to use then as I thought about it decided that will be held for an item for me or perhaps a gift.  I can't believe I paid that much for the yarn but then it IS merino yarn.  DUH!   I'll never be able to sell an item at a price to recoup the price of the yarn.  That's OK, something nice for me Big Smile

We are heading to our summer migration locale.  I will not have regular access to a computer so my visits will be hit and miss.  Keep each other company, have a safe, fun summer!  Happy Yarning!!  Linda

    Have a nice weekend.

It's hot here (supposed to be 100 tomorrow), no rain in the next week.
