that was a tough one....I was trying to think of it, but got my "Z's" wrong

ok- here is one for you-

this candy originated in the early 1930's and originally came in 5 flavors-however now the flavors are almost limitless.  The slogan in the 70's was something like "how mank licks...."  it has a chewy center

    Zagnut !

Sorry Jen.  That answer is wrong.  The correct one is a Zero bar.  Zagnuts have toasted coconut on them.  I only remember because I don't care for coconut.

Obviously that one's a Tootsie Pop.

These were first made in 1847 and come in a roll of 8 different flavors.  They were made in New England.

I think my last question was missed.

This candy is a long stick.  It's actually not a candy.  It's gum.  When they were first put on the market they were a nickle a piece. It's not Bubble Yumm.

Jenni would it be juicy fruit  or is it older than that?

    False
  • Re: let's play some candy trivia-

Hey Kay!! So glad to hear from you. I hope things are going well for you. No, Juicy Fruit came out decades before this bubble gum did.  Remember...it comes in a long stick.

Been fighting a flare for too long. I'll post more as soon as it subsides.

Red Hots!  I used to love those things.  Then there's Hot Tamales.  They're super strong, though.

When I was a hospital volunteer, I worked in the gift shop, and the L&D nurses used to come in and buy a bunch of boxes of Hot Tamales.  Always wondered why an L&D nurse wanted to smell like cinnamon!
