My computer at the office is down to 2 megabites of memory- needless to say, not working. DH took it to the computer doctor, and we will see if a casket is in order.
Mom today asked my 6 x in one hour what day of the week it was.....then I noticed we don't have any tuesday chatters yet, so maybe it is full moon?
I pickled beets this morning- just 4 jars, so don't give me any kudos- but it was the first time I tried it. Now- I just have to find 4 people that like beets- I think that will be harder than the process of canning them.
Kallee- Does your mom do okay doing the business stuff? Do you still want that turkey bacon? I can drop it off at your house or work anytime. Just let me know when and where.
I wish our "old" regulars would come back. It's been kinda sparse of late. I'm willing to keep going even if it's just the four of us (me, Kallee, Jenni, Leora) who are the regulars. Sure do miss our DS freinds
D is having a lazy day. Doesn't even want to go to the library. Wish Yankee Candle store would call. I'd like to see her get a job. She's put in so many applications online. Still some places she can apply to.

Gee today must be a day for computers to go wonky or something. it took me almost an hour to get this thing going. Pickled Beets? my parents used to do all kinds of canning, even homemade sweet pickles and beets. if i lived closer you wouldn't have to look very hard to find someone. but anyway i want to thank you kallee for the slaw recipies, i look forward to trying them both, the next couple of days are in the 90's around here to hot to cook since we dont have air conditioning. and regular slaw dressing has so many calories and naughty stuff we really shouldnt have i need to find better alternatives, so i thank you. not too much going on around here, im not as cranky as i was yesterday,
Back to work today. Yesterday was fun, the zoo was great but very hot. Was gad we went early and left before it got rediculously hot. Got into the high 90s. Poopys was a blast. Menu items were all called weird things like Poopy melt and little sh*t, homewrecker, to poop or not to poop. We did a lot of laughing as we read it.
I miss a lot of the people that used to come here too. Wish more would come back.
Weekend- Nice to see you the last few days. I'm glad to hear that you don't feel as cranky today. Cranky is not fun. My daughter would probably say that I am cranky sometimes. I think, though, that mostly I just get down.
Any of you ever watch the commercials that advertise meds for depression? I find that I get really angry when they come on and, in my mind, I retort back at them.
Didn't have to cook again tonight (I love not having to cook!). Had leftovers. D and I had stew and rice, Honey had ribs. Also had leftover fruit salad.
Just got back from the mall. Bought d her graduations gift. She chose a pair of pants and an i-tunes card. My feet HURT!!! lol

Kallee- Every once in a while I do private message members. Problem is I can't always remember who hasn't bee on in a while. I have trouble keeping the names and profile names straight, even when I've been told umpteen times.
I have written to Budzmom but I think she's been really busy.
Honey and I spent the day down south. Honey spoke at a Women's group in the morning, then we went to lunch with mom and dad (I just had fries and a rootbeer-- still went right through me), and then we stopped to visit a couple who used to be in our Sunday School class. Got home just in time to make dinner. I just fried up some chicken. Honey put his in his salad, I had mine separate from my salad.
