I want to thank all of you who prayed for us. Results on Honey's test came back normal. I am so thankful! I fell asleep praying last night, and had a restful night. Honey was up at 4 to drink the last of his prep drink. I got up at 6:45. I sleep like a rock once I get to sleep.
He just woke up a few minutes ago and, for about the 5th time asked me what the Dr. said. Too funny.

What are you and peej doing today? I've been doing housework today and visited with my friend, Annie, across the street. Hot Spiced Chicken for dinner here. I might take the electric frying pan outside and co the cooking there. We sure don't need any mo9re heat in the house. I used to cook fish this way all the time...before I quit frying foods. It's a treat here to have something fried here.
I went to the new psychiatrist yesterday. We both like him very much. He's from India. About 10 years younger than I. It was more like talking with a pastor than a doctor. He is a Christian. I liked that. I told him I've had little self esteem for a few months. He gave me homework. Bubba and I are going to work on it together. I really need a Christian Counselor but they are pricey here. His office is about 15 minutes away. I go back in 4 months. If I have problems I am to call him to get in to see him right away. Really nice front desk people too.
Again, I am asking for prayers for some friends...

Josh - friend and neighbor. He is still waiting for the results of the prostate cancer tests.

I am think that since we are having a heat wave here a few days, that you in the mid west will get it next week. I am trying to keep my garden watered enough, but it is really hot.
DH and dad have torn out some of my cabinets (once again I am sitting in kitchen mess) as my brother is sending me his Viking Oven/stove from the house they left. It is super deluxe, but it means pulling out the old one, moving cabinets, etc.... what a mell of a hess!
My darn Jack Russell was after a possum for most of the night- so I was up trying to get her to shut up. I ended up napping in the lazy boy thru the night.

Kallee- Honey slept for 2.5 hours. Said he wished he could sleep like that every night. How great for you that you're getting a "new" oven. I hope you love it.
Jenni- I brought Honey home, made sure he made it to bed okay and then headed to the store to pick up meds for me and d. Also picked up a can of chicken noodle soup for My Honey. Nurse said that if he did okay with that then he could resume normal eating at dinner time. D and I are not doing anything today. What is Hot Spiced Chicken?
I have a proctor job this afternoon. Have to leave in about 45 minutes. Not allowed to wear denims so I have a pair of corduroy pants that I'm wearing. Not the best but my [only] pair of dress pants are in the laundry pile.
My psychiatrist was so helpful yesterday. She calmed my nerves by telling me that, since Honey had no other symptoms, it was more than likely nothing. She was right. Honey was right, too; he said he thought it was nothing.
Hello, i just thought i would stop in to say hi, things around here have been good for the most part, the heat finally gave up for a while, i am so sorry it has moved to your part of the town. I dont wish that heat on anyone. as far as everything else, still living, Rox i am glad to hear the test results turned out good. have a good night.

Hot Spiced Chicken Legs are good if you like very spicy food. I have a secret recipe but if you want something less spicy the stores carry sauce in a jar now. You put the sauce over the chicken and bake for 15 minutes at a time then baste with sauce again, do this a total of 5 times.
We're growing beaks I tell you. LOL
Kay, I think I failed to mention you in a post a week or two ago. It was a mistake. I'm very sorry. So, what's going on in life for you? (((Kay)))
