GOOD MORNING! hello my extended family. sorry i havent been in lately, finally got the computer working. that was interesting, weds morning started it all when i had to download the updates, wow that was a problem. my computer went black with no way to do anything but pull the plug, no i didnt have a virus or anything of the sort it was the evil downloads. LOL. anyway long story short i am glad they have a restore button on these things because it was the only way to go. it may have taken me time to get it going but at least i didnt waste money on a computer geek to fix it, i did it all by myself LOL. so i wanted to stop in to say hi. i hope everyone is doing well.
Good morning to you too. I'm sorry you had trouble with your computer. Mine hasn't done that, but I've had problems with my modem and junk like that. It's a pain in the neck to reset it too.
I don't have much to do today, maybe a load of clothes, but other than that not much. I need to change the sheets on my bed, hopefully my back will let me do that.
It's supposed to rain today, but I don't trust the forecast. Hopefully we will get some because it's so dry it's ridiculous. Haven't had any fires this year, so that's good, but I'm kinda surprised we haven't.
West Nile virus is the biggest problem in Texas. I heard that 366 people have died from it, and one in my area. The city has started spraying in the evening for it.

Weekend- Wow, I am really impressed. I wouldn't have known to hit the reset button. You lose all your info when you do that, don't you? I run to My Honey for all that stuff.

Not much going on here today either. Honey is going down to his parents' house to do some odd jobs around there, including figuring out what his dad did to the television controls to make the t.v. screen not show right. He'll also do some work in the yard. As for me and the d, we'll hang around here. Than at 1:30 I'll pick up d's best friend and bring her here, and then take her to work at 4:30. Other than that, absolutely nothing going on.

Meredith I wonder why you get so much of the West Nile Virus. It was a big deal here for a couple of weeks, a couple of years ago. Could it be because Mexico doesn't spray for it?

Hello to hit the "reset" button is actually the restore option, if you do that you restore the computer back to a certain date the only things that will be lost is everything from the date you choose to the current date unless you back it up. i only lost one thing i forgot to back up and that was no big deal.
Today has been interesting. I went shopping today, and since i had mom with me we parked in a handicap spot wich we have the permit to do BUT i forgot to put it out and got a parking ticket for it too. did you know its $100 fine here, OOPS! my bad,but i called the police station and they said i could talk to someone and get it voided, so i put my seat belt on and (kinda sorta) made an illegal turn (opps again) so my son who sat in the back saw the police car turn as i was turning i said a few choice words ( not that i can say them here) so i said watch for his lights and sure enough he pulled me over (OOPS, my bad again). i laugh because these were stupid moves since i saw him there i should have been more careful, my bad, anyway after i pulled over i told him i had a brain dead moment and i forgot the permit and he said he was the one who wrote the ticket and he saw how mom had walked and knew she had the permit but wanted to see it, so i showed him and he took the ticket back and said dont worry he will take care of it. I was soooo lucky he didnt notice everyone else without a seat belt or mention the illegal turn ( cutting through the isles) . so i guess this will be my reminder for next week

So far (7:30) it's still pretty nice out but we'll close everything up before we go. Yep, there's Honey just closing up the kitchen. Gotta go.
