Nancy – I think I will have plenty of goodies for the goblins on Wednesday. If there is anything left, I will take it to work so I won't eat it. I must admit, I've been into some of it already, but not too badly. You did so good with not snitching. That's a good idea that they do Halloween the Sunday before there.

Hauke - *lol* at your candy buying trip. I've done that many times. Even when I have a list, I forget things!

Annette – I'm glad the breast exam went so well.

Deb – Thank you for explaining about the old house. It sounds like you have been very busy. That is a big job. Are you enjoying your days off? Hope so.

Carol – You had a busy morning. I just saw somewhere near me the other day that an Aldi's is going in. There's one about 40 minutes from me. So this will be nice to have one closer. I hop your knee feels better. I'm sorry to hear about your mother. Your so right, dementia is horrible.

Doris – Good to see you again. I'm so glad you DS set up a computer for you to use. I think the racing season is slowing down now. But I did see there was a race on yesterday. I think it was NASCAR. *lol* at people using fast food condiments for Halloween giving. I think I would just apologize that I don't have anything left.

It was yet another busy day at work.
I'm making a new recipe. I think it is new. As I was making it, I kind of remembered it. We'll see. It is called "Deviled Chicken". You melt butter in a pan, then add in Splenda, salt, spicy mustard, curry powder. I think that's it. Then mix that with the butter and then cover the chicken in that. It smells really good. If it is good, I'll post the recipe on the recipe thread.
I did walk when I got home from work today.
Tomorrow, I have a ticket to go to a Taste of Home Cooking School. That should be fun.
    Everybody have a good evening.

Oh it's so good to see all the chatty chats today, especially you Doris.

I just found this on CNN... it's about transplants. It was on the front page of cnn.com... but just in case it's off the front page bu the time you read this I'll post the link. Hopefully that page with the video will come through OK for you all.
It's interesting and gives us a bit of insight into Doris and Guenter's struggles. Hang in there you two!

    Hi Everyone,

Doris, good to hear from you!! My thoughts and prayers have been with you and your DH. So much to deal with and understand.

Carol, sorry about your Mom. Hope they can help her. Ron's truck is high too and I look funny tring to get in and even funnier tring to get out...I just slide out..LOL I would rather drive the van.

Joyce, your supper sounds good. I have been making alot of stir fried veggies with portibella mushrooms and some parm. cheese...I just love it. I don't think Ron is real crazy about it though, but I like it...LOL

Ron went for a walk. The nurse told him to just walk up the road to the next house, come home and take his BP and see how he feels. Well, he walked up to the corner and his BP and heart rate were up. Isn't it fun being a DH MOM???LOL

His BP is still up but not severe. The Dr. told me to start to worry when it goes to 180/90 and above.

Robin, my GD has asthma and other allergies. Poor little Carter...I hope he feels better soon. I am glad you are enjoying Wisconsin after the horrible week you and your family endured last week. I hope you got your roots done...LOL

My Halloween candy is still in the bags for Wednesday night...LOL Once the bag is open..look out..LOL

Deb, our computer room is messy too. More cluttered I guess. I try to clean it when Ron is napping. He is on the computer alot here of late.

Nancy, hope you are enjoying a good day!!

Annette, glad your breast exam went good. I go for my Pap test this coming Thursday. This is Dr. week for us, me included.

Hope everyone had a good day. I did alot of wash and hung it outside. Boy, did it smell good.

We had frost last night, killing all the flowers and the remaining peppers.

I really think we had one of the nicest falls, I remember. Our leaves were beautiful here too and we enjoyed many a ride looking at the foilage.

    Hugs to ALL,

    Mary

Well, it's probably because it's the last week of October, but apparently they've released the latest top 25 - this time of horror movies of the last century plus.... and apparently Bambi is listed as number 20.

Can you believe that? And we thot Disney movies were safe for our kids to watch! I just told Rebecca I sure was a delinquent mother as I let her watch that and thot nothing of it. Now she tells me Opa gave her the video years ago. Oh my.....

Aren't I just full of trivia today. LOL I found the initial link on cnn.com but then it took me to the time site I gave above.

I really must stop surfing the net and figure out what we're having for supper. It is that time. LOL
