    Good Morning Everyone,

Guess we are supposed to warm up today, but it is still cloudy and gloomy...Today, Ron and I go to the eye doctor for a class on preparing for his cataract surgery.. I think he gets all his scripts and information today, so that we are prepared for the 5th of July, when the surgery takes place...Home care is coming to stay with Mom, which is nice for me because I will get some housework done....Someone just running the sweeper for me is a nice treat...

Peggy, glad your dinner for your friends went so well...That was a nice thing to do for them...I am sure they appreciated it too...Rest up.. You work too hard...

Deb, glad Danny's back is somewhat better and that he can sleep better now...Yup, restaurant watching is interesting too... I never saw anyone go around cleaning up everyone plates and eating so much food....LOL The guy was super thin too, so go figure how he could get away with eating so much...LOL

Everyone take care....I have to get on the ball this morning because we have to leave around 9 AM....

Quick Good Morning All before I have to head to the shower.

Talked with Ford yesterday & was told the program the sales manager referred to had been terminated. Only thing they could offer, since the car is still in warranty, is an extended warranty. Already have that so they were no help. However, when I called the dealership where I purchased the car to discuss cancelling some of the 'extra' stuff we had bought {to reduce our payoff more}, the general sales manager talked with me. He wants us to give them another chance & says he can make a deal work on a vehicle I want without raising the payment amount I have right now.  Marty & I discussed it & think we will give them a chance to try but no holding my breathe. Have resigned myself to the fact that I will probably need to keep the car another year, continue paying extra, then try again. We shall see.

Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Susan, what a nightmare with the car!! You wouldn't think buying a new car would cause all those problems and that the car should be in good shape when bought, since it is all brand new....Did you ever check into the lemon law.....I sure hope everything works out in your favor....When Ron bought our SUV, which wasn't brand new, we bought and extended warranity...Thank God we did because the vehicle had all sorts of damage underneath the car and needed extensive repairs...The warranity paid for the whole deal and we were thankful that we bought that extra coverage....

Nancy, WELCOME Home!!!! We are going to be heating up too, today....It is fine with me....

Waiting for home care to come, then we will go to the eye doctor....Ron wants to change the surgery from July 5th because of all the reunion plans.. I said he should have thought of the reunion before he made the surgery date and that he should just follow through that it won't be that bad and we would just do what he was able to do....It is not going to be that bad and he won't be down and out...I'll be glad when the reunion stuff is past....LOL

Nancy – How nice of Laura to make dinner on Father's Day.  I hope Maycee will like the table.  I thought it was a cute idea.  I think I'm going to put up my patriotic decorations today.  I don't have many, but I will put up what I do have.

Doris – I hope you are right about Maycee and the table.  That's a good idea to get a second bike.  I think the recumbent bikes are supposed to be easier on your joints.  It makes sense to me.

Deb – I am hoping Maycee will grow into the table.  Breaking up your days off will not be nice.  We are to be in the 90s for the next few days, with a chance of rain on Thursday.

Peggy – I'm glad you all had a good time with the anniversary dinner.  That was so nice of you to do that for them.  I can't believe their son didn't do anything.  I had to laugh at me getting Maycee a BBQ set now!  I can just see her.

Mary – I hope you learned a lot at the cataract class.  I'm sure it answered a lot of questions you may have.

Susan – Good luck with the Ford manager.

    Good afternoon, everyone.

MARY, we are hot, hot, hot. In the 90's and that has kept me in most of the day. How'd the eye exams go? It seems my eyes didn't change that much as I got older. Bet you had a good ride and a nice lunch today, too. That sounds great.

SUSAN, you have a few things to think about with the vehicle, so I hope it all works out for the best for you.

JOYCE, the table is a good idea. My kids liked theirs and so did the DGC. IL DD had a couple of the Li'l Tykes outdoor play things for Robin and Bradley. Red, white and blue is out here, too. Even have some flowers to put on the birdhouse pedestal on the porch. Stay cool.

DEB, glad Danny's back is doing better. I sat in one chair at the trailer reading for a long time and develped a back ache. I could hardly straighten up. Doing better today. We had rain at the trailer, but it went straight east right over to MI. Nothing down by us in SE WI.

PEGGY, great that you made the anniversary memorable for your friends. 50th is a mile stone.

I did get out to water plants early this morning. Now, tonight it's pistol competition at the Gun Club.

    Hugs and prayers for all.

    Hi Everyone,

It is about 85 degree's here today....Nice and toasty....I am always just happy to see sunshine...We had enough rain for awhile, that is for sure...

Nancy, sorry your back is hurting...Ron made out well today at his pre op appointment...After the surgery and the lens transplant, he won't have to wear glasses....He has always worn glasses since he was 6 years old, so this is really going to be something new and different for him....

Joyce, Maycee will love the table... I used to have a picnic table for the kids and it was always used and so handy...They like having their own space to eat and play.... I can't believe Maycee is two years old already....Now for the "terrible two's", which extend to to 3 and 4 years of age....LOL

We went for lunch after the appointment and I was good and got Chili and a salad.. It was so good... I love their chili...as long as it is not real real hot...I also picked up some groceries and snacks for Mom...Mom would live on junk food...LOL Giant Eagle is all stocked up again and looking good...We finally have our grocery store back to being stocked and many choices of what to eat and buy...

Hope you ALL enjoyed a good day....
