Ladies ... today is Lorraine and Rudy's anniversary.
When I saw that on the calendar I realized I haven't seen Lorraine on the DC for a while so I went looking for her. Has anyone spotted her in one of the other groups ... or maybe under a new name? When I went to her profile it said that she hasn't logged in since February ... at least no under the ID of gramtosevenNH.
But let's party today ... and hope she remembers that we'll be remembering her.
Happy Anniversary to you Happy Anniversary to you Happy Anniversary to Lorraine & RudyHappy Anniversary to you!
Today marks 48 years of bliss! We congratulate you and we hope all is well at your house. We miss you and hope that it's just that your computer broke that you haven't been on the DC for a while.
Our wish for you is good health and much joy as you enjoy your retirement years. May today be a day of lots of heading down memory lane together with each other and with your family and friends.
We're sending lots of wonderful blessing your way. May today be a special day of blessings as you are a blessing to so many.

Good Morning Everyone,
Did any of you have problems getting on DC last night? I couldn't get back on DC after I posted, but this morning had
no problem...Hope everyone had a good night sleep and feels rested...I had a so so nights sleep and decided to just
get up and have some coffee and computer time... I like to take the second cup out on the deck and sit quietly for a few
minutes and listen to the quiet...
Not much new here, but all is well...It is going to be a very hot and humid day here in Pa., but I understand, the heat wave
is to be short lived...
Nancy – We are very hot, too. But as somebody said at work yesterday, I'll take it over the snow. I did get my patriotic decorations put up yesterday. I sure hope your back is feeling better now. I've decided not to water the grass any more, but I will still water the flowers and plants.Mary – Libby said Maycee has already had some "terrible two" events, but I haven't seen it. She is such a sweet little girl, that I can't imagine her being terrible. You mentioned you had chili and a salad. I've been craving a taco salad lately. I went to Taco Bell the other day and got one. They served it in the edible bowls, but I didn't eat it so I felt like I wasted my money. It was okay, but I stopped at the grocery store last night and got everything I need to make my own. Stay inside as much as you can, so you keep cool.Hauke – I haven't seen Lorraine around. I miss her. I wonder if her GS and his wife had their baby yet.Lorraine – If you do happen to peek in, I hope you and Rudy have a wonderful anniversary day. May you have many more happy years together.I took the evening off from work and I'm having Maycee tonight, so it is a good day.
Good morning all. I too could not get in here yesterday, I started trying about 2pm and kept giving me an error message and I tried up until about 10 last night..Supposed to be very hot for the next 3 days, upper 90's, but we had 90's 2 months ago so that won't be a problem. Air has not been on much but today I will keep it on. Went to a grocery store that I love down to the beach yesterday, its not a chain just a local one, they have the best items and its a little pricey but worth it. I am cooking dinner for my side of the family on Sunday so I needed good chicken as I am frying it for all, probably about 36 pcs, they are all brings sides, should be fun for all. Blood work for Eugene this am, hope all stay cool today...will check back in later on..Peggy
Peggy, I love those little "local" stores too, we try to help keep ours open, but they are pricey. I bought skinless chicken thighs today, but just 12, because dh has a hankering for fried chicken or he will grill them, which ever happens first, lol.
Joyce will have some Maycee time tonight, and don't look forward to the "terrible twos" stuff, ha ha. Actually, my sons didn't follow with that at all, had a 6 month time during age 4 that was "trying" though, lol. The teenaged time is more "trying" though. Maybe girls are different, never had girls or even been around baby girls.
Lorraine, wishing you and Rudy well, you are probably too busy for keeping up online.
Mary, that is one nice looking cake!!! Sometimes, when we go to a grocery store in an actual city, they sell just one piece of cake, and wedding cake is one choice, and it always draws my attention!! Yes, sometimes I buy a slice, and enjoy it here at home for the 7 pm snackie pooh.
Howdy hauke, how are you feeling and how are the kettlebells feeling? I'm still doing my weights and weight bar and the kitchen counter push ups, they help that "back area" of your shoulders, I have issues there.
dh got his dermatology biopsy results today, and he needs 2 procedures done, one this Friday on his scalp and the other on his face July 3, they want to get all the cancer cells out of there, if they can. So we are on pins and needles again, so what's new?
Keep COOL folks, we are trying too, up here.
Doris
Doris, I am sorry to hear that your hubby needs two procedures done...Prayer that all goes well for him and you...My DD said to tell you that she know where the Ahwahnee Hotel, in Yosemite is... They didn't stay at that hotel, but she said it was beautiful and that she could have made herself at home there all day long, no problem....Ang said that she thinks you live in the most beautiful place on the face of the earth....We saw her today and she told us all about the trip and the fun they had and said she would go back in a minute...
Joyce, glad you have Maycee tonight to enjoy...She will keep you on your toes and laughing...
I grilled outside tonight and made steak and baked potato's..I don't make steak often, but for a splurge, we had that tonight and it was good.. I love those Weber marinades that you use juice instead of oil to marinade....I made stewed tomato's and we enjoyed radish's from the garden.. Our radish's are huge and so crisp and good.. We have to check them every day now because they are growing so fast....
Hot and humid here...in the 90's...We got the SUV inspected today and battled road construction...What a nightmare.. Ron went to Walmart to get a gas can and I got my eye brows waxed...LOL I am sorta tired, but now have to get in gear to bake for Cody's bake sale on Saturday....I hate turning on the oven if it is so hot, but what are you going to do...He needs to sell some goodies...
Hi, everyone.
Busy and not so happy days here. We're ready to go to Cathy's tomorrow. Her surgeries were moved up. Plus, after a visit there we will head north again. Aunt Josephine passed away today. Our visit to her last week sort of gave us the idea it was not good. So, we will be traveling back and forth until Sunday or Monday.
Just sending a HI to you all. Hoping to get on the BB from Cathy's house.
Happy Anniversary to LORRAINE and Rudy.
Hugs and prayers for all.
Nancy Z.
