What a special week ahead ... so many things to do this weekend!
TGIF everyone!
TGIF #46
Good Morning Everyone,
TGIF to all of you.. Although, I don't know how happy we are with the weeks just flying by like they do...Our weather is supposed to be pretty decent for the next week or so, and I am grateful for that...
I did a lot of cleaning yesterday.. Ron helped me get the living room curtains down and I also did the computer room window...I think after the lady cleans tomorrow, I will lay the throw rugs back down again.. I doubt I would fall over them now and it looks so much better with some rugs down..
Not a lot new here, but all is well..
Wishing you all a good Friday and weekend..
Mary
Hauke – I love that picture. So comforting.Mary – How do the new curtains look? That is a big job.It is chilly this morning, but we are to warm up over the weekend.I got the drawers switched out between summer/winter yesterday and I took a bunch of totes to the storage bin. Then I took my recycle stuff to the place I go. I ended up cutting my hand. Fortunately, the recycle place is right next door to a volunteer firehouse and there was a truck out front. So I went over there to ask for a band-aid. He looked at it and said I could use a stitch or two. So I went to the Urgent Care. It took 11 stitches. I told the doctor I guess it was a good thing I went. It is sore this morning, but I think that is from him giving me the numbing shot. It felt like he was digging under my skin.
Joyce, I am sorry you cut your hand and needed 11 stitches... That is a lot of stitches!!! Yes, It is good that you went to Urgent Care and got taken care of...I hope the cut stops hurting soon.. The curtains look nice and I am glad its done.. I am not doing much today.. I didn't sleep well at all last night...So today I am making a nice pot of veggie soup.. I feel I we really need a meal like that after all the restaurant meals....We are to warm up too... Feel better Joyce and I am sorry about your hand...Ouch....
Good evening all. Love Haukes Thanksgiving pic...very homey. Joyce, glad you went and had your hand looked at, hope it feels better soon, ouch....Mary, your house will be glowing from the cleaness for the holidays. I have cleaned 3 houses this week plus mine and I am wore out. Outside of cleaning I didn't do much else except cook dinners, last night though we went out for a burger, yesterday afternoon we rode to the slots for a few hours, had a good relaxing time and didn't spend much. Did the Walmart thing this afternoon, just a couple items and bought a turkey, I am cooking on black friday, just us, but I want leftovers,,,yum. My cat Timmy went out yesterday and he never stays out long but was out till dark, I called for him and finally heard him crying,,,he was really scared of something, we have been seeing for several weeks a big fox that is really rough looking...I would love for someone to kill the thing, so will have to see if the neighbor can or maybe Eugene can...they scare me. Not much else happening, not much in the yard sales for Sat. so we will sleep in, might go to the flea market..Have a nice evening all.. Peggy
