    Good Morning Everyone,

I hope you are all doing fine and had a good nights rest...I slept rather well...kinda made sure I did..LOL Lots of decision making today, so I wanted to be rested...LOL My bad!! LOL

They have arrested two people in connection with the fires in Elk County, but I don't know if they were involved in the recent fires....Unless these idiots have been setting fires all along and now are just getting caught..It is a father and son team setting fires.....

We are supposed to be really hot and humid today....I  mixed up stuffed peppers for the crock pot last night and just have to get them out of the refrigerator and plug them in to get them started... I love easy quick meals.....I might go to the Market tonight just to see what they have and the plan the weekend meals accordingly.....It is fun cooking this time of year.. My basil plant is doing well and last night I put a few leaves in my pasta salad....What great flavor.... I love fresh  basil......

Wish me luck today.. I will post and let you know what the doctor said this afternoon.....I think it will work out for me...somehow..

    Love,

    Mary

Good morning Mary and all to come.  I just got on here and noticed I had not posted for a day or so..Mary hope your appt. goes well and so glad that hopefully they got the persons connected to the fires. Have been busy doing nothing, or at least it looks like I did nothing, I did clean a house on Tues. but thats all the major work I did, we did cut the grass that afternoon and boy was it hot. Yesterday we went to Ocean City, Md to the casino, spent several hours, made just enough to put back, but we had fun. It got really cool last night but at around 5am it started warming up alot, I had a window fan in and you could tell the difference, the air will go back on today.I might do some stuffed peppers next week as we are getting alot of them in the garden. Well hope all have a wonderful day..Peggy

Doris – I've already gone through menopause.  I think my problem is when I get home from work, I play a game on my phone and then I'm wound up from that.  So I've got to quit playing it.

Deb – They are predicting storms for us today, too.  I sure hope it does happen.

Hauke – Having a number of days of cloudy, gloomy weather can get depressing.  I'm glad you got some sunshine.  How was the concert last night?  What a great idea.  I hope your father enjoyed it very much.

Nancy – At lunch, Maycee ate some rolls and some broccoli.  That was about it.  I gave her some of my chicken but she didn't want it.  We hit 103 yesterday.  We are to cool off a little when the storm goes through today.  It sounds like the door projects are moving along well.  Getting things on sale is always an added plus.

Sandy – Your poor SIL.  I hope the adjustments to the BP pills help her.  Have a great time at the concert tonight.  Tell Pal I said "Break a leg".  LOL

Mary – I hope the dr. appt. goes well today and you have more information to help you decide what to do.  I would appreciate it if you would post the chicken recipe with the crescent rolls.  It sounds very good.

Peggy – This time of year, there is nothing wrong with not doing much.  I'm glad you had a good time at the casino.  When I go, I go with the attitude that I probably won't win, that I'm going to have fun and if I do win, that is a plus.

I had a great time at lunch yesterday.  Then I stayed at their house until it was time to go to work.  They have a new dog.  He is about 7 months old.  It is hilarious to watch Maycee with him.  But Libby said he is just there temporarily.  But they are looking for a new puppy for them to keep.
We were very busy at work last night.  You just never know what it will be from day to day.
I finally got my hair cut this morning.  It was getting so stringy.

Just breezin' through to wish Mary good luck! and to report that we had Storm...all night and into mid morning.  And man! did it ever storm.  Not sure how much rain, but Danny said it was like someone unzipped a zipper and let it rip!!!!

    Take care all.

    Hi, everyone.

DEB, we had a big, big storm go thru around 2 am. The whole enchilada of a storm with lots of wind.

JOYCE, it's funny what little ones choose to eat. Guess I was lucky, my girls ate most everything. Now---they are fussier, believe me. My real good eaters are Robin and Bradley, from little on. Don't you feel good after the haircut-----it's like losing weight up there-----mine is coming up next Tues. If I choose to play a computer game, after a couple of rounds, I get real drowsy.

PEGGY, after several rounds of rain here, our lawns are finally looking a little greener. The mower will come out in several days. Casino is fun and glad you get to go here and there. The one near me is in an icky part of town.

Waving back at DORIS as she continues her ride.

HAUKE, how was the concert? Did you get to clap to the Radetzky March by Strauss?

    Thinking of MARY with the rest of you. {{{{MARY}}}}

Been going up and down the steps today trying to get all my towels washed.

    Hugs and prayers for all.

    Nancy Z. Big Smile

    Hi Everyone,

I wanted to update you on what is going on with me... The doctor showed me the MRI of my knee... I don't  have torn cartlidge, I have NO cartlidge  between my knee at all....There are no alternative measures to take other than knee replacement, which is going to be Aug.13 th....I want to get this over with and done....I am in shock now as I thought I would have the scope, but I am adjusting to the thought... Just had to let you all know....I have phone calls to make and some things to do, so I will get back to all later.....I have quite a few appointments coming up and need to start getting ducks in order....

    Love,

    Mary

A combination of buttery crescent roll, melted cheddar and juicy chicken…Mmmm…

    Crescent Chicken
    (serves 6-8 rolls)
1 (8 or 6 jumbo count) package refrigerator crescent rolls
    2 cups chopped cooked chicken
    1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can of milk (using soup can)
    Preheat oven to 350
Prepare soup using milk and set aside. Separate crescent rolls. Spoon chicken and cheese onto each crescent; roll and seal to enclose filling. Place in a 9×13 baking dish. Pour soup over rolls. Bake at 350 uncovered for 30 mins.
    These are so good... enjoy!!

Mary ... WOW ... August 13th   That is so fast - I mean, just a few days really for you to get all the things in place that you need to.  You will be scrambling the next few days.  What's the plan with mom?

Oh my ... that concert last night was just amazing.  Your feet just can't help but be tapping ... In fact, my heart and soul is still feeling the music.  That man sure loves music and it just vibrates and radiates from every cell of his being.

He talked a bit about how music is so healing ... so Mary ... make sure you get some relaxing cd's ready and your mp3 player or cd player ready to take to the hospital so you can rest to the sound of the music!

Well, I have lots I need to get done today - I just wanted to stop in an tell you how wonderful the concert was.  Apparently, there is a replay in some of the cities this coming Saturday - so check your movie line up and see if it's in your city.  I know mom has been on the phone all morning phoning her friends to tell them to go on Saturday!

    Have a great Thursday everyone.

Well Mary, my goodness, so that explains all of your pain and no wonder it hurt to exercise and so on, thank goodness they are not going to let you drag around for a long time, that would be abuse.      Glad this doctor finally got the right tests going.    My dh is waiting to hear what the results are for you, he has to have his left knee replaced at some point too.   Hugs to YOU!!!

hauke, my brother and his wife saw Andre in Fresno, and they love the music, have it playing all over their house, lol, have high ceilings, and speakers everywhere, so you hear it even in the bathrooms.         How did your weight loss group do on Tuesday, did the teacher choose someone else to do the class if she is not available, so the rest of you are not left hanging there?   Maybe you guys can all do some walking together daily, for some fun and friends time.   :)

I need to rush off and check on my dinner, dh is getting the leftover lambchop and salad, and I'm having salmon from the can, and spinach salad, need to take stuff out of the fridge.

    Take care...........roll on, gang.
