A hot day here too. Sunny, 88 with lots of humidity. We did get about 1 1/2 inches of rain in the last couple of days, which is making the corn grow here too. Also the rain has helped the weeds grow.
Lily, It was nice of Matt and Terri to take you for a ride. Good to hear that Marv has caught up on his sleep.
We had a nice Sunday with both boys here. DIL seems to have adjusted to different people together.
Didn't have the computer on much yesterday or this morning with storm warning out. But we were missed and only got the rain and a little hail which was good.
DH has been looking for lemon grass oil for something about catching bees when they swarm. So we went to town this morning and didn't find any. I called the health food store in Shawano and they did have some. So we went there this afternoon.
I will feed the hummers again when I am done here. They went through a quart of juice in three days. Hungry little fellows.
I did get a couple quilt tops done yesterday to take to church tomorrow. We seem to have got overrun with fabric lately.

Good evening. You all seem to be getting a lot more heated weather then us but I haven't been outside so don't really know. I see the flag blowing pretty good though. I helped fold and pack clothes Dd is getting rid of from the girls' closets that they have outgrown. Will be passing them along to others. I also cleaned 3/4 of the fridge; other 1/4 has to wait for DsoIL to pull fridge out so we can pull the drawers out to get at them. I crocheted on my scarf and watch some shows.
Lily: Don't you do quilt tops like Gram does? Although I Know I've asked before do you knit or crochet at all. I think you should write a book; we know you can do that.
Gram: You're busy with the tops again. Guess people are cleaning out their stash and you are getting it.

HI Grannies. I was here this afternoon but got an error message and it wouldn't post I went to the library then it was rest time. I was outside early this morning to do some weeding and watering. Then again after supper. Very hot out there during the daytime.
This little piggie... no little piggies. Two big fat pigs left this morning. They will be ham and bacon when they return! Also some other good parts for eating.
Going to take a shower now I'll ck back after that
Hi is anyone here on this hot and miserable night? Weatherman said last night was the hottest night we have had since 2006. I do believe he is spot on LOL . Sorry to be so late it was library board meeting tonight and then we had to have some supper. Subs from Subway. In this weather any food I don't have to cook is good food.
We've been home a bit after shooting, but had to have our dinner. On this night we eat later, but eat lighter.
Grammy, I got a weird message this afternoon, too. I just kept on refreshing until the Grannie's came back.
MJ, hotsy-totsy, here. Weatherman is saying low tonight will be 77. I was glad to have a nice breeze at the Gun Club tonight. 50 guys and 2 women came out to shoot. We had a Subway on the way to the trailer----we get it at the truck stop where we get gas on the way.
I'm back all sweet and clean. I got the message again just a few minutes when I tried to reply. I googled it and it says web site person is busy ... Temp went to 91 today but a nice breeze so it wasn't bad unless you had to work in the sun!
ATV do you do any shooting at the gun club? Got to keep sharp!

Grammy, I do shoot with the pistol, but only when Russell and I go to the club during the day. I get rifle practice in, too. Since I am shrinking a little, my shotgun stock is now too long for me to hold up----so no more trap shooting, right now.
