I'm here. I just came in from a nice walk. All the waaaayyy back to the creek. Then all around the garden to see how things are growing. The garden looks good, lots of things in bloom and some with small green things. Z has started producing Same old refrain we need rain!

Good evening, MJ!  Remember me?  I'm the wayward one, LOL.

I've been busy lately.  Now just going to add to the busy-ness because we are having a surprise 40th bd party for DD#2.  I can't do two things at once anymore and it just seems like a long stretch to put in a few days.  LOL.  I finally did sit down and made a list today.  Now maybe I'll get something accomplished.

Almost done with the runner too.  Want to start on the stars tonight and see how they look.

Work has been something else.  I just had to sit and laugh today.  One provider is really giving us fits and I think she thinks she won.  But she doesn't know that she really tripped Dotti's wires today.  A nice big blowup coming to your station soon.  Stay tuned!

Wanda when will they learn that the workers don't write the rules and they can't win against the system lol . If they would put as much effort into profitable activities they would be rich people.

Vicky did they go to visit his Mom ? Probably the dog would knock you over LOL . The dogs know who plays and how each person plays with them.

Mamma those repair men never seem to think we need our machines back as rapidly as we would like.  Hope you get it back soon. Mine has not seen the light of day in quite some time. It sets in my closet and the cat thinks she should lay on it . Finally a good use for it . I gave up sewing when I decided I could afford to buy clothes and did not need to make them LOL .  Well I opened this wrong so can't go back until I post. So glad someone finally came.

I did lots of sewing in my younger days. I made most of the clothes for the girls and myself. I even made a few sport jackets for dh. Some where I lost all desire to do that kind of sewing. Some arthritis in my hands prevent me from doing some of that work. Simple sewing is all I do now.

Well Lucy did not get home from work until 8:00 and she was not hungry so no dinner tonight . I had ice cream very good not to nourishing but that is  ok it was good. Funny computer does not like me to spell Luci with and I it wants a y . I keep telling Luci that she spells it wrong LOL . Anything to annoy the mother LOL .

Grammy it sounds like the vegetables are hanging in there in all of this heat.

Did we at one time have a Grannie that lived in Defiance Ohio?  I heard on the news today that a guy cleaning out his Grandmothers house found a box full of very old baseball cards in perfect condition. Estimated to be worth about 3 million dollars. What a find.  Maybe if we hang onto The collection Liz has someday it will be worth its weight in gold also LOL .

That's where Stylist lives. Wouldn't it be great to know some one with that kind of luck! DSIL still has his collection. He might be looking for a buyer. By mutual agreement, with the sponsoring church, this is the last week for his Hispanic ministry. He felt he wasn't effective in that ministry anymore.

Grammy I guess you could say I lost my taste for sewing also . It became  just hard work and no fun . I still enjoy knitting but have not done it for a few weeks it was just too hot . I t will be interesting to see how miss kitty reacts to knitting the first time I do it LOL.  That could be a challenge to say the least

The piggies are in the freezer. We had breakfast for supper tonight. Bacon, scrambled eggs with a bit of sausage and potatoes added. Biscuts with butter and some banana butter on top, Yuuuuumy. There is  more than 300 pounds of pork in the freezer!

Thanks Grammy I knew it was one of the grannies I just could not remember which one. I wonder if she might know the lucky person .  I am so sorry he is ending his ministry there. I think he truly loved it and I know your DD did. Do you think he will try a different type of ministry Now? Those cards can get to be pretty pricey and DD has a very large collection . I have thought of getting it appraised.

I cannot crochet any more becaue of arthritis.  I miss it, and have so many patterns I wanted to try. My family doctor wants me to see a rheumatologist, and wrote me a referral, but now with this a-fib business going on, and I have to see the cardiologist again, I have no idea what is next.  I am on blood thinners twice a day so can't take any ibuprofen or aspirin based products anyway.  I am falling apart.  LOL.

I don't know if I told you all that I got a Kindle Fire.  I love it and since it works with just the tap of a finger, it doesn't bother my hands.  I have downloaded several books but not read any of them yet, and several games.  I really got a deal on it from my nephew.  I still have a lot  to learn about it.

Hi, MJ, Grammy, Vicky and Wanda.

Always have a late, light dinner when we get home from the gun club. It was a nice night with a bit of a breeze. 49 participants showed up for the competition.

I use to sew, too. Made baby clothes for the girls. Always made them matching dresses for Easter and Christmas. I still have the Singer slant needle machine we bought 53 years ago.

Vicky they say i have A-fib also I frankly think it is the current catch all phrase for dr's to get us coming back and paying for office calls LOL . The blood thinner upsets my stomach when I take the evening pill so to be honest a lot of days I somehow forget to take the darn thing along with a couple of other pills. I know I am the worlds worst patient. if something is going to get me it is going to get me no matter what the quacks say.
