Are you all leaving now? I turned my computer off after I posted earler, as it gets so warm here in my cave and I can hear the computer really humming. Just turned it on to check any posts. I turned it off this morning after I read, but thought I had posted then. Lots of SM's anymore, it seems!
I've been out watering but it doesn't seem to be doing much. The flower bed is in a gravelly spot and not that nutrjitious soil, so it is really had for things to grow well. Even my big day lilies in the new bed aren't doing as well as they should, altho' they still lool beautiful. I just received a packet from Spring Hill today, advertising new re-blooming day lilies. They are so beautiful looking, would love to order them all! I just love day lilies!
Mary, hope lowering the price will help to sell your home. The prices of homes today is just ridiculous and don't know how anyone can afford them!
My Chicken casserole was good tonight. It was nice to eat a "regular" type meal. Seems we've been eating just "light" foods lately and tired of them.
Seeing the dead cornfields on the news tonight was so very sad. I certainly can feel for those farmers. All that time and money spent on planting and then see nothing from their efforts. I was looking at our corn fields and thanking God for His goodness locally. I do believe I will be buying a lot of veggies from the Amish and freezing more than I had planned. Don't think I'll be able to buy many from the stores this winter, if the prices jump as they are talking!

Hi Lily glad you dropped in tonight. I'm here for a little while. it's 10 here and getting close to my lights out time. Our garden is doing well. I picked Z and yellow squash for the pasta tonight. Lots of work trying to keep it watered
Grammy, on Tues. I am the money taker. And, the shooters have to sign in.
I go with Russell when we can practice and I get to use the pistol and a rifle. I am not strong enough anymore to pull back on the automatic pistol to reload. And, that's part of the competition. But, when I do shoot I am accurate.

We've been having tomatoes and cucumbers the last couple of days. Oh, so good.
Being outside for three hours and just sitting tires me out. I do chat with the guys, but then they get ready to participate. But, on Tuesday I go to bed earlier than usual.
