Hi, grannies.
I sure didn't realize I hadn't posted, today. I know I read everyone's message. I went to a gunsmith with Russell this morning and then we walked around a Super WM and did a little shopping.
JANE, glad you had a great and happy time last night. Good on the weight loss.
MAMMA, good for you on the weight loss, too. A couple pounds a week is good. So delicious to have tomatoes and cucumbers from the garden. That works for us, too.
GLEE, let's enjoy every breezy, cooler day seeing the heat wave is coming, once again.
MJ, said a prayer for Liz and Jeremy----would be nice if they stopped for a rest. How's Luci doing now?
MAC, nice to see you stop in for a couple of days. I have your DH on the prayer list.
FRAN, you got more rain than we, but anything was wonderful around here. Even the mist we had last night. Blackberries should be good to pick around the trailer, but we won't be up there for a couple of weeks, yet.
ICOOK, hope you had a good day and a good showing.
SHARON B, yes, the CO shootings were a tragedy. The major TV networks broke into the daytime shows to report it.
Hoping DEBBIE got a good start.
GRAMMY, $100 at Aldi's is lots of food. I usually have a 30 dollar bill when I go there. We only go once every two or three weeks. And having the water tanks filled is a good thing on the Little Farm.
ELJ, two good country singers for you to listen to and see. Safe travels for you when you head home.
VBS in a couple of weeks, so I am helping Laura with a couple of ideas. She's teaching the songs, again, and will also be in charge of the Music Shop.
Good evening wow what a long day and still more to do yet tonight . Luci decided to see a Dr today she has a bad infection in her leg so is on antibiotics. I hope it starts to work fast. Liz and Jeremy stopped in Beckley Ohio for the night so that means I have a little more time to get things done. With Luci kind of laid up that has left everything to me. so what else is new LOL . I even drove her to the Dr today as her leg was so bad she would not have been able to drive safely. We had the last of our raspberries that we bought last week tonight they were so good and a good bargain also.
I brought up a box today to pack all of the stuff I have gotten for Liz's classroom but ran into a problem the cat claimed the box. Silly kitty I may let her have it and use another box.
It was a gorgeous day here and is to be for at least another day or two. Then it will get hot again but nothing like it was. It is nice not to have my fans running. I can now hear myself think LOL .
I bet Debbie Is on the Road Again LOL. I always liked that song. I hope they have a good time. I think she super plans I would forget what my plans were LOL . I used to do that when I was younger now I just pretty much go with the flow .
Grammy I see you have water again. That is a very good thing.
So who else is here besides me?
Hi, MJ. I'm here for a while. Glad the kids stopped and got a good rest. My IL DD's cat loved being in a box, but loved crawling into a shopping bag more. Good that Luci went to the Dr. Hoping the meds work well and fast.
Cats love boxes and bags. Missy likes to lick and chew on plastic grocery bags. i don't think that is such a good idea. she loves to walk on my window sills and look out at the world too. I wonder if she misses being an outside cat? She does not seem to want to try to get out. Good thing as out is not a place she is going LOL.
Cjay-h glad your DH got home he was gone a long time. He must have pretty good body tone. Me my body tone is is definetly not a tune to be played more like a sour note LOL .
MJ, you could let the cat out and then she could bring you presents like Toby brings Cjay. Love your musical description. I just say I am fluffy.
Well with my busy street here it is hard to say how long she would survive. I will pass on the deceased presents too . lol Right now she is here looking for attention. The musical description just came to me out of the blue funny I think better when I am tired or at least I think i do LOL . I really can't imagine riding a bike for as long as he does. WOW I am impressed that is for sure. I love to travel but I want my car with AC while I am doing it. I want my creature comforts at all costs. I want a shower and a good bed at night also no tents for me not anymore.
Time to feed the creatures of Commerce Street. Then I think I will call John I feel bad as I canceled on the dulcimer festival today but I really felt I had to be here to look after Luci. I wonder what these kids will do when I am dead and gone??? Well it won't be my problem anymore now will it . Then I do need to do up the dinner dishes.
I will check in tomorrow morning to see who has the coffee ready. i am betting on Jane.
Good night
MJ
I like comfort, too. But, I do survive with rustic surroundings at the trailer. I am not real fond of camping in a tent, but otherwise I can adjust. As for riding the bike that long, the little seat that doesn't fit my seat would really get to me.
Good night, MJ.
See you all in the morning.
MJ...my DD's cat chews on plastic bags, too. She has to make sure they are put away so he can't get them. Not a good thing. And all my cats love boxes...funny to see them try to fit in a little box. They will get as much of themselves in it as possible...LOL They like to hide in grocery bags when I throw them on the floor. Hope Luci feels better quick.
Yes, DH was gone a week, but he enjoyed every minute of it (and so did I...lol). He joked tonight that he might set his tent up in the back yard and sleep out another night...but he didn't. He has a really good air mattress...so he doesn't feel any lumps on the ground...even so, I still wouldn't want to sleep in a tent after riding a bike all day. He is talking DD into doing that ride with him another year....and she seems interested.
Toby caught another surprise today....not happy about it either.
