Good Morning Ladies
Goodness, looks like I'm the first one here again today - Coffee is ready and hot, help your self. Breakfast is yogurt and Fiber One, but I'm sure someone will come up with something better. I didn't get groceries last weekend, since I was going to be gone, and the weekend before, I was getting ready for my test, so it's kinda slim pickins around here. I'm craving some fresh fruit, mostly melon, so I need to pick up some of that soon.
The show last night was fantastic - 20 kids in the singing/dancing group and 16 in the Jazz band. They were from all around the state. Marcia, if you have a chance to see them, be sure to do so - not sure if they were preforming in your area or not, but I think they try to be close to all area's. They had to be back to leave at 6:00 this morning - Tonight, they preform in the far oppisit corner of the state. It really takes a big time committment from everyone involved.
Well, I need to go poke around the kitchen and see what else I can find - that didn't fill me up this morning.

We were up with the birds and got some things accomplished, already. Big storms all night long. Nothing special today, just a stay-at-home day.
JANE, glad you had an enjoyable evening. Always great to see young people perforn.

No big plans today. Had some but they fell through. Was suppose to go to the Quilt Shop and spend the day sewing. Was also going to look into buying my sewing machine. Mini Group was canceled and so now will have to go another time. Drat! Was really looking forward to getting my machine and sewing all day. Trying to get a pieced quilt done for DD#6's baby shower.
Doesn't look like it is going to be sunny today. But will always be Sonny here.

Off to work in a bit at the office - first time back since June 26th - really am enjoying my time off more and more - makes me anxious to completely retire. If I could just figure out a way to live on SS then I would do it!
Better get another cup of coffee and then get a move on and finish dressing.

Good Morning everyone, Wow, you all sound interesting. Italian cook, do you cook alot Italian? I love italian food and would love to go to italy one day. I was thinking yesterday somelasagna would be nice but with this hot weather wondering if i could lmake a skillet lasagna. Has anyone a good recipe that might taste like the baked one? I might dabble with it. Gram suzi, my , you do have a lg family. that is wonderful, as is how many of you have been married for so long. That is great to see. and mocha milkshake sounds wonderful. I like to make coffee ones also. love that coffee icecream! What does it mean how many will be at Lima?

Grammie oh, I'm apt to bring a diferent bowl for my goodies. I love the real thing, real whip cream and dont tend to use cool whip. I was disgusted the other day when I tried to purchase real whipping cream the other day for shortcakes, and the store didnt even carry it. I went down the street and got some there. They have now dicided they should be carring it, guess it was a oversite.

Good grief the humidity this morning is at 94% and it's not even raining. We had no rain to speak of, just a dribble or two, darn. Sunny today and I imagine sticky icky again.
I have a big load of dark clothes to wash whether they go on the line or not. Then I'll have a bunch of ironing to do. Not much else planned, but will find others things that need to be done.
I'll add some watermelon to the table, it's rare that I don't have a big bowl cut up and ready to go and another melon waiting. hehe I also have some raisen bran muffins. Help yourself.

Good Morning, but I can't see anyone due to dense fog or is it humidity? Whatever, it is miserable looking outside. I walked out on the deck and you feel like you are almost in a shower. But the weather report says it is to clear by noon and drier air is to come in.

Fran, enjoy the ride around the block. We don't even do that now at gas prices!
Rickshaw, we didn't get the flooding here, but there has been lots of it close by. We live on a hill and even got water in our basement, which has never happened. But MN53022 lives close to where there was a LOT of bad flooding in IA. My DH and I grew up near Detroit, Michigan. Hope College is on the other side of the state near Holland.
