Dusta thanks for the updates! I checked at the Y about swimming lessons...its kinda expensive, so might wait a little while to do them. They have to have so many people before they will have a class, so they put you on a waiting lists.

Had some garden tomatoes, so made blt's for brunch today....sooooooo good! love a blt with a GARDEN tomato!!! Mmmmm!

Not much going on today...planning on babysitting Monday and Wed. this next week, then we will have dh's band at our house this next weekend. so will have a busy weekend again!

A friend gave us a Whole Bunch of Wild Game meat - all ready for the freezer.
Had Elk for the first time today.
Made it into Fajita meat - - - was very good !

Hi Kris, Jill, Sherry, Dusta, Rebecca and everyone!

we had a good weekend for the most part, it was humid but we did get some rain out of it. Saturday my new(er) washer leaked water & the brakes went out I called for warranty work & someone came out yesterday. We will get a whole new washer friday :-) Delivery & installation, all free. Woohoo!!!

Between friday and yesterday, I did a 4m WATP, a 5m WATP and a 2 mile run at the park pushing sam in the jogger. My muscles are tired & sore, but in a good way

Sorry abou tthe leak, but getting a new washer is great. It was humid here too and rained some everyday. Sunday morning it was sunny so I refilled the humming bird feeder and then in an hour had a down pour. How is Sammie girl?

Yesterday saw Ryan had put a couple of pictures of the new baby on fb. She is a pretty baby. Wondering wha her middle name is. My youngest dgd is Kelsie Daneille, my son's middle name is Dane and he wanted to name her that but her Mom didn't.

Mel had dr appointment at 10:20 and he is ready except for what ever he is going to wear and now is is sleeping. I think he wakes up really early then goes back for a morning nap. He made coffee at some early hour and it was awful by the time I got up. Think I am going to start making 2 cups and if he makes it early I will make me a fresh cup.

Jill, good idea to look into swimming lessons. So important to at least know how to survive :) You asked about how much Ill see Kira, shes an hour and 15 min away (just like maddie is right now) but my sister is always so busy its hard to catch up with her and maddie, and she is so protective she doesnt let you hold her for long, etc. With my brother and his girlfriend, they dont mind... they WANT me to hold her all I want :) So I will get a lot more time with her.

Muril, how is Kelsie doing? And how did the birthday dinner go last night?

I work from 930-1230 today, and then off to the dentist. Unsure if I will be coming back to work or not. If they finish early enough, I can... but if Im hurting or something, will not more than likely. I have TMJ so having my mouth open and stretched for a long time makes my jaw and head hurt somethin fierce.

Hoping the dentist goes well, and praying they can just build it up with filling for now...

I so wish I could drive down again tomorrow and see Kira again, but I cant afford using so much gas.... so guess Ill hafta hang out at home alone tomorrow.

Breakfast - 3 frozen waffles with butter (no syrup), yogurt, coffee
Lunch - nothing, Ill be at the dentist
Dinner - Ham and Augratin potatoes

I told the NH to start waking her up - tell her about the activities - so she will go.
When will they figure out that she doesn't remember anything - and will not read the little event calendar in their room.   She's missing out on a lot - because she looks 'normal' - - - - don't know any other way to put it.

Maybe they will now though - because I hope I made the Activities director aware.

Dawn - sounds like you had a good productive weekend - with your workouts!  Glad you got some walking and running in.

Hi Healthy Beauties!

Macie Girl is getting a nap- she was up this morning at 6:00 so she got tired quick- but she slept through the night- although I kept waking up checking on her. LOL

Kelsie Marie is so adorable( I didn't add the middle name yesterday because they still wasn't sure- it was between Lee and Marie- Love both of them- but Marie has a nice ring to it.

I shared one of Ryan's pics on FB. Will try to get some of my own soon. I have been too busy with baby girl (Macie that is)to do much online. :)

Crystal is doing great and so is Kelsie girl so hopefully they can go home today. We shall see...if so, I want to make them a first night at home meal. I am not sure yet who Kelsie looks like- Lori thinks she looks just like Crystal- it takes me longer to figure it out. She has the tiniest little mouth. :) Sweet baby girl. Macie kissed her on the head last night when we went by for a visit.

Muril- awww! Kelsie Marie is an adorable name! I am sure her and Macie will be best friends! So sweet!

Natasha glad that you will be able to be with the new baby more!! My neices and nephews are like that too...the one SIL does everything for my nephew, so he doesn't want anything to do with us...just screams if we try to pat him in the head even! But my other SIL (that has 3 kids) we are very close with them.

Dawn sorry you had a rough weekend, but glad you get a new washer! I really wish we could get some of your rain! We are just getting showers here and there, we are a foot behind in rain this year.

Babysitting Riley today, but found out this morning that today is the only day I will have her this week, and not sure about next week. So I should be able to have plenty of time to get ready for company this weekend!

howdy all!

Love the name, Muril, Kelsie Marie is cute - maybe if they have a boy in the future they can utilitze the last name more, like Wheat Fields or Hay Fields... hahahahaha now that would be something different! :)  I'm hoping Crystal and baby Kelsie get to go home soon and the family can settle in and relax a bit, hospitals are stressful to me.  So nice of you to get them a dinner all ready - what a treat!

busy around here, the weekend was a whirlwind - yesterday we had the famlly over for lunch after church so that was fun ... I never did have time to make my potato salad, so I just ate regular salad and fruit with my fish and it was delish!  I made hot dogs and brats and baked beans so everyone was happy.  I forgot to have my niece take home the cookies though, that was a mistake, you know those naughty sugar cookies with the icing and sprinkles (Lofthouse) they have at walmart, etc.  I bought the little ones, though so 1 cookie is 60 calories so if I really REALLY want one I could have one.

my house is pretty clean right now so I'm working on the little stuff like the baseborads, etc. and both bathrooms need another scrub down ... a self cleaning bathroom, do we have a team of scientists working on that?  and if not, why not?  wouldn't that be a treat?  I'm thinking like a drain in the middle of the floor, you flip a switch, close the door behind you and voila!

it's still so hot here, not a lot of relief in site, high 90s all week.  BLECH  Hope Katie does okay at camp Wed - Fri mornings, at least it's only morning so she won't be there in the hottest part of the day.

Debi, that's too bad they don't pay more attention at the NH and they should wake her and ask her to participate - does she still sleep at night if she's napping all day?  it becomes a viscious cycle, that's for sure.  It makes such a difference though to be a little busier during the day, I bet her appetite would improve and she'd be tired at night when it was time. for bed.  just my 2 cents there ... I am envious of your wild game too - I did get to bring home venison from my parents, so looking forward to some of that.

Natasha, sounds like you had a good weekend with the baby!  hope laci is feeling good and getting her strength back.  I guess you can't blame your sister for being over protective with Maddie - I was like that with Ross too, just a reaction to trauma I'm sure.  She'll get easier as time goes on.

Dusta, good for you getting the biking in - I need to make my workouts consistent and just get over myself!

Jill, that's hard with them changing the schedule all the time with Riley, I like my schedules to stay the way they are supposed to!  hahahaah

I'm like a fish out of water right now, can't find my calendar so I hope I'm not missing anything!  hahahaha  it's gotta be here someplace.

Hi Girls!

I just realized that I am totally exausted! :) I haven't slept well the past two nights. LOL Plus, with the new sweet baby girl and going back and forth to the hospital and doing K's B'day meal and such kinda tuckered me out. :)

I made baked spaghetti, healthy blueberry muffins(from a DH simple morning mix- no HFCS and made with whole grains), and a salad for R&C, and Macie girl. Plus, I took them some of the homemade ice cream too. So, they are all set- back home getting settled in. Ryan stayed at the hospital with Crystal and baby Kelsie so he is probably worn out too. They can get back in the groove of things. We stayed long enough to hold Kelsie a little and then left Ryan, Crystal and Macie to enjoy thier meal. Kelsie was napping and didn't even wake up  while we held her. :) I think it's a good time for them to get Macie used to her. Right now, she thinks of her as a doll baby or a meow meow- something she can play with- but - it'll come and also since Kelsie is sleeping a lot- maybe Macie won't feel left out- she will get boo coos of attention then. :)

LOL Rebecca on the wheat and hay fields- don't forget about corn! I am not a biggie on having someone have my name. Crystal wanted to use my middle name but I don't like it by itself(I don't think she did either- I think she was trying to be polite  and was relieved to find that I didn't like it,lol) - it was meant to be with my first name as one word- hence I started going just by Muril as soon as I got my drivers license and such. Very very long story- Mom named me after her best friend and meant for it to be spelled as one word. I guess the nurse wrote it down as two words- but even so, why didn't my Mom want me to have a middle name. Whole other story. HaHa... :)

Okay, I am going to find a spot and relax a bit before supper- we are having leftovers from Kieth's b'day meal- yum!

I promise eventually to catch up with everyone....I promise. :) Love you all!

hahaha muril, I did forget Corn ... I guess they could save those names til she is having triplet boys ... yeah, that's a good idea!  hahahaha

I don't really have anything to add to the day except that my kids are driving me insane and I just found myself channeling my mother "if you two kids cannot get along I will just turn that TV off and you can start dusting"  huh?  hahahahahaha  don't know what the dusting had to do with anything!

okay, think I'll feed the masses some leftovers for dinner and I will have ... hmmmmm fish or ... fish??????  hahahahahaha
