hahaha I had to laugh, Dawn, cuz I used to do that at work too - people thought I was crazy, but I said, well, it takes 2 minutes, and I don't have to worry about meeting clients, or whatever all afternoon!  To this day I carry something in my purse, always, those little disposable thingies or an actual toothbrush, I don't care, I feel blech if I don't.  AND I like to eat stuff like onions (forgot those on my sammy list!) and pickles and smelly stuff, I don't wanna have to talk to people with smelly breath.  that's funny though, I don't know many people who do that ... I guess only the cool ones :)  hee hee

oh, and I love that olive oil mayo - isn't it good?  mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

When I buy lunch meat I buy Boar's Head, not as salty.  I like turkey. part of the time with thin slice of cranberry sauce and mayo. Mel has lettece too.  And I do eat ham some time even if it is high in sodium, since I don't eat it very often I think it is okay.  Today I had a fish sandwich(cooked extra last night) with tomatoes, mayo and hot spicy, sweet pickles.

I can't go to sleep without brusing my teeth. Rebecca I don't think I have ever carried a tooth brush except when I was going to eat out then go to dentist. Brush and floss. Hope I get to keep my teeth, Mother and Daddy had theirs when they died.

Dawn your variety of sandwichs sound good. I have not had the mayo with olive oil, probably because I fhought it wasn't light.

Dusta, the mayo with olive oil is light actually - check it out, it's so good!  they have a smaller kind of a squeeze bottle that you could try and see if you like it!  My parents are in their 80x and still have their own teeth, amazing anymore - my grandparents had dentures I remember.

oooooooooo I love cranberry sauce on a turkey sandwich, sooooooooooooo good,.

Dawn, I dunno... growing up we only ever brushed our teeth once a day, in the am. So no, its never bothered me to not brush in the middle of the night. Ive been brushing twice a day with my new Sonicare, but still I dont feel the NEED to brush after eating, my teeth feel no different after eating really.

Thanks girls, for the ideas for sandwiches. I prefer hot sandwiches to cold sandwiches, guess thats why I needed the ideas.

The dentist said my teeth are in great shape considering I dont brush at night and never really go for cleanings. My cavities are all between my teeth, which she said is from my not brushing after sweets, and never flossing (I hate to floss) but aside from that, great teeth and gums.

I think I might make chicken salad and serve it on a really earthy type bread and bring some chips, and some carrots and hummus or something as a side... maybe some apples and cheddar.

    Hello Ladies!

Flying through to say everything is fine I'm just hot, tired & lazy.  I mowed the lawn, helped dad purchase a gun and had my hair cut & colored today.  I have no energy to do anything believe it or not!  LOL!

    Have a good evening!

Popping in to say hi. still working today, just hoping and praying they will float me. Yesterday was awful and today promises to be worse because I will have 6 patients instead of 5 and several are high acuity and there are several other things going on that have to be dealt with. Ugh.

    Good Morning Healthy Beauties!

I am on a mission today- realized that I haven't been taking care of me(missing meals and such) so am writing down my goals for water intake, food, etc.... plus need to make sure I exercise regularly too. Every now and then we have to regroup and make sure we are taking care of ourselves.

So far today- Ez. toast, egg, coffee and 2 waters. I have also exercised already- woo hoo!

I will be back later to catch up with all of you! Hugs and Waves to everyone!

All of a sudden everything was blue on here and then I lost everything I had typed and I am not happy.

Got my hair cut and it is very short in the back and I like it.

    Kris hope you rest well.

Sherry hope your day is easy.

Natasha your picnic sounds good. Have fun tomorrow.

Muril take care of you. I don't ride the bike every day, makes my shoulder hurt when I rode several days in a row. Mel says I use it as an excuse not to ride. Silly man doesn't know what he is talking about, if I don't want to ride I don't. lol

    This is the short version.

    hugs

Was it really this quiet in here today, or was something wrong with the site?

Dusta, glad you like your haircut! Youre right, no excuse needed from ya. If you dont feel like riding, ya dont LOL Sorry you lost your post. I always type in a wordpad window, and then paste it in here, for that reason.

Muril, good idea, getting back to yourself and taking care of you! You are such a healthy woman and such an inspiration :)

Busy day after work for me... I spoke with my doctors office during the day. As soon as I miss my first shot (Tuesday) I need to cut back on my bp med. Half dose for 2 weeks. Then stop it completely. Its a dangerous drug for pregnancy, and causes miscarriages early on so no chance I can continue taking it. So, my task is to get my bp under control on my own. Its gone down quite a bit over the years just because of my weight loss, but now its serious. I hafta lose weight.

With me, food is what it is. Im probably never gonna change much in that respect. BUT I do need to start my exercise again. And, since I gained about 30 lbs when I started depo, Im hoping I can lose it too. As most of you saw on FB, I so wish for a workout partner. I want to have someone share it with me, the hard work, the success, etc.

Oh well, so after work today I ran to Safeway to get a couple things for tomorrow, and then I came home and did 5 (thats right, 5) 12 minute miles! I worked my bum off and my legs are so stinkin tired. Hope Im not too sore to hike tomorrow LOL

I also made the chicken salad for tomorrow. First time Ive ever made it, I used my step moms "recipe" and its the tastiest Ive ever had, so glad it turned out! Itll make wonderful sandwiches tomorrow with a side of grapes, chips, apples and cheese!

I tried a new recipe for dinner... a roast beef sandwich made with provolone on garlic bread. Its okay, probably wont make it again. But itll do for tonight. Im having 1/4 of a french loaf (which seems like a lot) but its less than a 6" sub, so not so bad.

Toodle loo! Gotta be up a lil early for our day at the park tomorrow!
